I'm 59 years and have been searching for more years than I care to remember for THEE #1 rub.

The search is over! I recently heard about "Butt Rub" on the Food Network and thought why not try one more.

I tell ya folks, this stuff is "fantastic". I even put some on  my eggs in the morning. Beef, Pork, and chicken. On wings?  WOW  it's better than anything I ever tried.

I ordered the smallest amount 4oz just to try it and I know when this is gone I'll be ordering more. http://www.buttrub.com

Let me know how ya like it if you give it a try...I love this stuff!!

My brother-in-law manages these two restaurants in Kansas City.

You might want to give their rubs and sauce a try, too! When the

owner was competing, he ruled!

The Squeal Hog Rub is my favorite:

RW, I see that it is good on poultry as well...

In your opinion, would it taste good as the seasoning on a deep fried bird?

I would apply the rub the night before or at least have it on the bird for a few hours to be absorbed by the skin. Otherwise, I'm afraid the rub would just cook off.

I did not intend to steal your thread. I will order some Butt Rub.

Whenever I travel I like to sample the regional BBQ, collect rubs

and sauces. Thank you for the tip.

I had some butt rub BBQ peanuts on vacation last year and they were awesome! We bought them because of the name and were quite surprised to find that they tasted good too.

Butt Rub Peanuts?  Sounds like something that comes up after a night of tequila.
