justfishin Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Well another 2 years has gone by and its time to re-up with Sprint. I was interested in T-Mobile though because of the five favorites plan. I guess what I would like some feedback on is how is the T-Mobile network in the Mid Atlantic region? Quote

The only reason I would stay with them is if you use your phone for a lot of stuff and want to get the $100 everything plan. Otherwise, if you get good reception with T Mobile (they should have a chart on their website if I remember correctly) SWITCH! Quote

TruflShufl Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Here's the thing about cell phone providers: you need to find the one that fits you. What fits you may not fit someone else. It's like making an argument about what's the best auto manufacturer, everyone's view is different. T-mobile here in Wichita is a joke. You can drive down the main highway in town and drop calls. AT&T is almost as bad. How it is where you live might be 100% different. I wouldn't suggest T-mobile to someone in Western KS, just the same as I wouldn't suggest Alltel to someone in KC, MO. Depending where you're at and what you need your cell phone to do, you'll need a company tailored to your needs. I'm unsure of Verizon, T-mobile, and other companies practices but Sprint and AT&T both have a 30-day risk free policy. Use those 30 days to your advantage and try the phone and service to it's fullest extent. That's the best advice I can give you. 8-) Quote

slomoe Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 I have att, Im about to switch to T-mobile. Sprint is crap, but its all relative to where you live. Most companies can pull up a detailed service coverage map on the computer in the store and it will show you where the signal is strongest. I know t-mobile an att do, not sure about sprint (if service isn't strong in particular area, they may be hesitant to show you). EDIT: sorry didn't see your post Glenn. Quote
KYbass1276 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 I had nextel before sprint bought it and when they bought it they sent me a thing saying how they where going to make service better and this and that. Nextel sucked rear before sprint as far as the phone part and sometimes the direct connect sucked too. Any ways sprint hasn't really done anything that I can tell to make it better actually it's starting to get worse. My brother had nextel/sprint and he got tired of it and shipped them down the road and signed on with verizion. In our area they are worse than sprint. I use to cuss sprint alot but everytime I call my brother or he calls me verizon drops the call. My freind bought a criket phone and I thought it would be crap too but it works very well.
