Super User Munkin Posted May 28, 2008 Super User Posted May 28, 2008 What is the difference between the Hickey and Mutt crankbaits? Allen Quote
Stringjam Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 I believe the Mutt is a little smaller than the Hickey. Not sure on that one, though.....I haven't picked up any Mutts (yet). The Hickey is a fish-catching machine. Quote
Willzx225 Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 The Mutt is a smaller bait in length than the Hickey but the Mutt is a thicker bait (still flat but thicker than the Hickey). I have a couple of the Mutt's but haven't gotten them wet yet. They look like they will throw pretty well. I agree with Stringjam the Hickey is my go to crankbait in clear to stained water. It will flat out catch fish and I think the Mutt will do the same more towards the fall when the bait is smaller.JMO Quote
