I like to make my own beer, particularly english styles like Porters, Brown Ales, etc.

When buying beer I typically try new things every time I buy something, but I like Hacker Pschorr, Paulaner's weizens are good, Sam Adam's is typically good (some are AWFUL), etc, etc.

I like a good amber beer:  Bass Ale, Newcastle, Boulevard Pale Ale, etc.

I'm boring: Bud Light

When bored or going to just have a one or two at a restaurant I also like.

Killians

Red Stripe

Dos Equis

Corona

Modelo

Fat Tire

Absolutely hate Coors Light and Heniken

Sam Adams

Sam Adams Summer Lager

Sam Adams Oktoberfest

Newcastle

Bud Light

PS

For those of you that drink Coors light, I can still remember when that was a girl only beer.  Taste like water to me. but I guess water with alcohol is not a bad thing.  ;D

Just joking.....

Mr preference depends on my purpose for drinking, meaning, if I am at a party and really want to tie one one, i will drink basic old Bud Light.  However, if i am at dinner or just sitting on the deck to have a "pop" or two, it is usually Guiness.

I have, when I lived in N.O., thats all my friends drank, and I have to say it is definitely not for me.  It is WAY to sweet, and I am not a sweet drink person. ;)

I like it, but I like Turbodog better. Have you had Abita Bock? I thought it was pretty darn good.

Samuel Adam's Cream Stout

Guiness Extra Stout

Murphy's Stout

Beamish Stout

Samuel Smith's Irish Stout

Marston's Oyster Stout

That is what is in the beer fridge inventory right now. The kegerator currently has a 1/2 barrel of Boston Lager.

Any beer as long as it's not Minnesota 3.2 beer. Oh, and Blatz or Old Millwaukee for simmering brats.   Hooked_On_Bass, in Canada it used to be LaBotts Blue, much to the laughter and finger pointing of the locals.  LOL

I don't buy Blue, but I wont turn one down if it's offered to me. ;D

Frosty, A&W, Mug... these are my favorites... even though I quit drinking soda too! I haven't had a beer (or any alcohol) in well over 15 yrs. When I'm thirsty I drink water, fruit juices, tea... that's about it. When I did drink, I preferred Budweiser.

Out and about:

Busch Light for fishing

Stag for bowling (it's a SE Missouri thing)

Around the house:

Corona with lime in the summer

Bud Light longnecks in the winter

I like just about any beer in a bottle, but sometimes cans are more practical.

Very good thread!

Cheers,

Dan
