Haha, you must be a Dale Jr. fan! I'd be mad if I was him, but I don't think it was intentional...

Nope, I just despise drivers who cannot seem to understand that they need to learn to drive.  Busch can't drive in traffic to save his life.  He and his brother are the worst in Nascar for that BS.

I see where you are coming from. I am no Busch fan by any means, but have you seen the standings? He's #1  :)

Posted

I dont think it was intentional at all if you watch it again you can tell he just got loose and got into Dale Jr there wasnt anything he could do about it. Another reason everyone is Pi$$ed is because its Dale Jr that got wrecked. If it was a lesser known driver like Johnny Sauter or Reed Sorenson that got wrecked nobody would have any problem with it. And Burley as for him and his brother being the worst in NASCAR, what does his brother have anything to do with this he wasn't in the area when the wreck happened. :-/

Ooooh, what'd I miss. The former Hendrick driver takes out the current Hendrick driver? LOL. The Busch brother are a couple of putzes.

How fun would NASCAR be to watch if stuff like this didn't happen? I think incidents like this make the sport. Obviously the most aggressive driviers are winning. Anybody who knows Dale Jr. would know he has done the exact same thing before.

I do not like Busch either, while I know that it is part of racing I can't foget the fact that he got mad as you know what Friday night when Rusty Wallace's son pushed him out of the way in the closing laps. He got so mad that he went to start a have words and basically starta fight in the pits. Kyle Busch is a second rate driver in my opinion that is why Hendrick got rid of him. I do not have a problem with rough driving. Earnhardt Sr. ,made a living bumbing people out of the way, just do not get upset when the tables are turned.

Oh Yea,

To elaborate even more on the race, I can't help but think that Denny Hamlin stopped on the track intenionally to draw a yellow flag. This allowed Busch to catch up with Jr.. Otherwise, Dale Jr. would have left Kyle Bucsh in the dust those last 10-15 laps.

I agree. Something weird there.... Why wouldn't you pit with a known flat tire, and while you are losing 3-4 spots a lap?

I was at the race and we were so disappionted when Denny's tire went flat.

Then, we were exceited about Junior winning another Richmond race that when Kyle took him out it really deflated some of the crowd.

A friend told me that two Virginia State Troopers were assigned to get Kyle out of the race track safely after the race.

It was a fun race with a surprse ending. Glad Boyer finally got his second win of his career.

Looked like one of them thar racin deals to me.  Jr's Dad did the same thing many, many times throughout his career.  I'm surprised the Jr fans are getting themselves all knotted up about it.

BTW, what the heck was up with Michael Waltrip anyway?  Talk about putting someone in the wall!   ;D

yea and im sure any of you guys could drive better than kyle. ::). i think its stupid when people criticize the ability of a driver that could most likely outdrive any of us

just my 2 cents

I have no doubt in my mind that I could run a cleaner race than either of the Busch pr..err, brothers.

Posted

I don't know that I've ever seen a clean race, by any driver... Just like any sport, being agressive causes accidents and injury. Busch was being aggressive much like any REAL athlete would. I don't see what the big deal is. You are dang right I would driver a little harder for an extra $100k, don't say you wouldn't either. The whole point of sports is to gain an upperhand on your opponent. You don't get that by letting somebody drive by you, by letting somebody dunk on you, or by letting somebody catch a touchdown pass over you. To win in any sport you have to be competitive and aggressive. The standings prove it.

Posted

Actually, no I don't! Haha! Agreed, they both drive clean, but how many championships have they won? Hmmm... How many times have they even been runner up? Hmmm...

You want to see a clean race? Watch Mark Martin or Jeff Burton.

Amen.

By the way, I am so freaking sick of seeing Kyle Busch will those godawful designer shades on before every race.  He looks like the biggest d*uche in the world with those sunglasses.

You beat me to it.  I am no fan of the Buschs, but they drive about like Big E did and everyone seemed to love him.

It looked to me like Junior came down on Busch and didn't give him enough room.  I would like to see an overhead shot.

Kyle is just an aggressive driver who wants to win, IMO. Jr. even stated that it was just one of those "racing get togethers" that are bound to happen in almost every race. Wanna see someone drive really scary, watch Montoya (again, in my own opinion).

I think there needs to be a lot more blame put on Denny Hamlin if that blankly blank would have pit like a normal driver would have in that situation Kyle never would have caught Jr. who at the time had the car to beat. I mean seriously who stops on the track after blowing a tire when you have been making cars dodge you for 5 laps already what is one more going to hurt, I think that was a call from the garage to get Kyle back up in contention, they are in the same stable by the way if any one has forgotten.

Don't get me wrong I am one of the biggest Jr. fans you will ever meet but after watching the replay 20 times it was just good hard racin....and rubbin is racin. Yes Kyle could have slowed up a bit but Jr could have given him a little more room......

Wait a minute. Although Junior's driving improved noticably last year, he caused more accidents out of pure stupidity in 2005 & 2006 than all other drivers combined. On-the-other-hand, maybe you can argue that dangerous behavior helped him back then, since he hasn't won a race in two years!

Off topic:

Can you imagine what NASCAR would be like if you actually had 43 cars in the hunt?

8-)

Kyle Busch looks like a big clown head on a Popsicle stick! After crashing out of the race on Fri he threatened to take out the other driver he was involved in the crash with. What a hypocrite! He can take somebody out and it's just hard racing, but if he gets taken out he starts crying and threatens to get the guy back!I think Jimmie Spencer needs to re-align his face like he did his older brothers! As for Denny Hamlin, that was a classless act that probably cost Jr. the win.He should have been fined, and had points deducted for pulling that stunt!
