Bassboy15 Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 does anyone know how I can hook up my home speakers up to my computer? Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 They run on different Ohms. You need something to interface between the amp and computer. The computer is only good for a signal, not power. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted May 11, 2008 Super User Posted May 11, 2008 If you have a reciever you can get a monster cable to run from your computer to your reciever.....set reciever on auxillary... grab a frosty brew, select Zeppelin from your playlist, and ROCKout 8-) Quote

Went to the monster site, couldn't find it. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted May 11, 2008 Super User Posted May 11, 2008 no longer have the cable, but I promise they can be found. It's called a Y cable Sorry that you had to edit my post... Cephkiller Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Allow me to open a can of worms I am a long time musician and very picky about sound and I cannot tell the difference between premium (Monster) cables and any others. Get on Ebay and pick up your cable for a few bucks. As long as you choose the right cable for the application you will be fine. Quote

Super User fishinfiend Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 As long as the house does not burn down, that sounds great! You are very resourceful. Now go spend the money you would have on cables to buy some fishing tackle. ;D Quote
