guitarkid Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 That was pretty funny. Did you see the guy get hit right in the nuts? -searoach Quote
Bassnbrett101 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 That was pretty funny. Did you see the guy get hit right in the nuts? -searoach Yes! and it was quite hilarious! Quote
alger319 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 that really looks like fun, except for the unexpected flying fish to the face.... ;D Quote
JayW Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Imagine flying through there at about 75 mph in a Bass boat! I bet someone could get killed by one of those things. Quote
fooman Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 The video looks funny but these fish are messing up the water here..They are everywhere, you can't canoe, kayak, boat or water ski in fear of being hit by one..we are talking about 40# fish that can do some heavy damage esp to a kid on ski's Then you have to look at the impact they are doing to the fisheries.. I do not understand why these non-native species have to be brought over here when we do not know the impact they will cause.. Now that they are here I do not see how we are going to get rid of them Quote
yzcajunman Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 id llke to get in an area by myself and try shooting some in a bowfishing situation .... could be fun! Quote
Super User Tin Posted May 6, 2008 Super User Posted May 6, 2008 Imagine flying through there at about 75 mph in a Bass boat! I bet someone could get killed by one of those things. Just another reason to kill them all. Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 There's a reason God didn't put those in Louisiana... ;D Quote
yzcajunman Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 lmao yeah your right Brian! we cajuns would like that too much! Quote
rondef Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 That looks like someone could get seriously hurt fishing there. Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 When I saw that video all I could think about was my ruger 10-22 and a 30 round banana clip. Get going about 15mph and try to drill them as they jump up. Anything you kill can go into crawfish/crab traps. Seems like a win win to me. ;D Quote
Daiwa Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I saw a video once of guys doing the same thing only with bats!! Quote
