Super User Catt Posted April 25, 2008 Super User Posted April 25, 2008 This is my Niece's daughter Victoria on Lady at a New Orleans show Quote
GitRDoneIke23 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I wouldn't call myself a "horse lover" but I'll probally be getting a horse in about 7-8 months. Nice pics! Ike 8-) Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted April 25, 2008 Super User Posted April 25, 2008 Beautiful! My daughter rode for years and loved her horses. Although I love the memories, I don't miss the expenses. Man, fishin's cheap! 8-) Quote
Super User Dan: Posted April 25, 2008 Super User Posted April 25, 2008 to be honest, I'm a little frightened by horses. And cows. I don't have very much up close experience with either so there is just something offsetting about my inability to read an animal that is capable of kicking me across a field or stomping me to death. Super User Long Mike Posted April 26, 2008 Super User Posted April 26, 2008 I've been waiting for over fifty years for Santa to bring me a pony for Christmas. :'( Quote
daviscw Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I have horses! However, most people ride western around here. About every weekend we take the horse trailer and horses to camp and ride in the mountains. Quote
CJ Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I would be a "has been" in this deptartment. Those are some nice pics Catt. Looks like the gal does a good job with her horse. I never did the hunter jumper thing though I did sell one of my colts for that purpose. He could jump the moon and never bocked at anything. I've broke alot of colts in both quarter horses and saddle horses. I miss it but my body don't. Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 26, 2008 Author Super User Posted April 26, 2008 Victoria is 14, she has only been jumping for less than a year and Lady is a barrel racing horse. In this competition there were 12 events and she took a 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8 thirds which is amazing for a kid and horse who wasn't giving much consideration. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted April 26, 2008 Super User Posted April 26, 2008 Have owned my share of horses, grew up having horses. Chris is the horse expert around here. She's been around horses her whole life and can pretty much climb on anything. She just got back from Columbus Ohio this past month from a week long horse show. Horses to Chris is what bassin is to me. A long time Passion~!!!! Beautiful pics. Quote
