Was 1st chair trombone for several years. I loved it. Then when getting to 10th grade they made you march and I said no thanks.

I loved to play but didn't want anythig to do with that whole march thing with wool uniforms.

When I was in the Army, aside from taking x-rays, the Medical Command Sergeant Major for the entire Army found out that I could play the guitar and sing country music. So he had me flown all over the country playing at dinners for the big wigs. It was fun and I had a lot of great connections for a young soldier.

I also play the piano and the drums.
