Super User .dsaavedra. Posted April 15, 2008 Super User Posted April 15, 2008 here are a few videos that my friend shot of stuff in his microwave (no damage done at all): flaming toothpick w/ pyrex cup over it. the flame shoots plasma (thats what i read) and if there is no pyrex cup it will burn your machine. it also makes a loud buzzing noise. kinda freaky: http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f120/davidsaavedra/?action=view¤t=thoothpick.flv a CD: http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f120/davidsaavedra/?action=view¤t=CD.flv a lightbulb (my favorite). it makes a chirping noise: http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f120/davidsaavedra/?action=view¤t=Lightbulb.flv im not advising putting foreign objects in your microwave, im showing you these videos so you dont have to ;D Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted April 16, 2008 Super User Posted April 16, 2008 When I was a kid, and I was at a house party, if I wasn't particularly fond of the host I was known to put a few eggs in their microwave and just walk away. ;D Quote

Branuss04 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 A friend did something similar to that the other day. She came over and wanted a hot pocket. I told her 1:50...... she did it for 5 minutes.... . Sorta looked like the tootpick vid. It took 3 days for the smell of smoke to leave my house, but everytime I turn the micro on, it stills stinks. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted April 16, 2008 Super User Posted April 16, 2008 I used to do marshmallows....I just liked to watch them get all swollen. Then dip em in grams crackers.15 seconds is all it takes to really get em to a good size. Quote

Put your sneakers in said microwave for 20 seconds, that should get rid of the Hotpocket odor Quote
