My mom met Ric Flair years ago in an airport. He was arguing to his wife on the phone when her sister (my aunt Pat) spotted him and he then hung up the phone and gave them autographs. My mom lost them lol! She's not a big fan of WWE and really neither am I...

Now that I watch UFC, the WWE to me is nothing but a bunch of guys in tights dancing around in the ring yelling WOOOOOOO!  ;D ;D ;D

Ric Flair was just on the Daily Buzz.  THIS GUY IS ANCIENT!!!  Don't get me wrong, he's in great shape for an old man but is it realistic to think he is still up for such a PHYSICAL acting career??????

was a wrestling fan for years...too bad Vince ruined it for everyone...I stopped watching years ago shortly after WCW shutdown

btw...I do know that Andre The Giant could drink a case (thats 24) of beer on the drive from Nashville to Memphis (its a 3 hr ride)

Nope, no vettes for Flair. He is a jet air flyin', limo ridin', high profilin' nature boy! WOOOOOO!!!

This guy was the best! In his time, nobody could go with him. His physical ability and stamina was unmatched in the "pro" westling business. Now he's old and still takes a good bump. He is a true legend of his business. Perhaps the greatest of all time.

What do you mean by "go with him",....you guys realize these aren't real fights, right??  It's entertainment!!  A form of very physical dance would be an appropriate classification.  Choreographed moves where you land on your back.   Not a fight.

Do you mean, he had endurance?  Like lung wise, when others are out of breath, he's not?  I'm just confused,lol.

Well one way or the other Flair is one of the best bleeders I've ever watched. In most of his matches you are guarnteed to see blood.

Seriously though, years ago the wwf would come to town and my buddies and I would go for the show. The redneck audience is more entertaining than the wrestling!

We also used to try to sneak into the lockerroom. Got kicked out by Vince McWhoever himself! Dude is HUGE! Got to meet undertaker, yokozuno?, and a couple others. Another time we jumped into the walkway the wrestlers use to enter the arena, and tried to storm the locker room that way. Did not work out so well

Nah, it's real.  Real refreshing to realize how normal I am.  Real funny too,...... for about a minute while I look for the remote. :

For me, the whole wrestling scene is like testosterone for show, which only reminds me of big idiots in bars that wanna fight everyone and anyone.  Real winners.

Now UFC,.....That's a bit different,lol.   No sticking my chest in your face, No posing,...flexing your muscles and calling out other actors,...calling them out to what?  A fake fight???? No,...UFC, you put up or shut up,....Leave your halloween costumes and "I am a God" pre-fight speeches at home,...

about WWE type of wrestling, is that they often show it on Spike, right before or after UFC's ???

What kind of guy watches "real, actual, mixed martial arts"..... and then says, now I want to watch actors (usually lousy ones at that) pretending to do, what the guys right before them were "really doing" ?

I love MMA, but I just don't get WWE.......
