TruflShufl Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Out of all the "tough guy" actors on tv and in movies, which one do you think is really the biggest badass? For me I'm definitely saying any Clint Eastwood role. He's the man. I just got done watching "Two Mules for Sister Sara" for the second time this week, Clint Eastwood is a man amongst boys!! Close second is going to be Chuck Norris (naturally). I think he's way overplayed, but he REALLY IS a badass outside of his roles. Isn't he like a 7th degree blackbelt or something? My friend insists Jack Bauer is #1 and I think that's a joke, heck I'd pick Gregory House M.D. to beat Bauer. And HE'S an old British cripple! So. What do you guys think? Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 I don't know about all around badassness, and this actor only has one badass role, but Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday is my favorite. Quote
Fish Man Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 jack bauer and matt damon in the bourne series. and i dont know how i forgot about the great chuck norris Quote
Other. Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Chuck Norris because the movie anaconda was played in his pants. Guess what played the snake! ;D Quote
TruflShufl Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 Charles Bronson. Ooooh good choice! 8-) Quote
frogtog Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Bronson and Eastwood have made some darn good movies. Sure wished we had someone to come alone and fill their shoes. Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 Johen wayne, charlton Heston and eastwood along with Chuck norris Quote

ejtaylor822 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Agree with others on Eastwood, Bronson, The Duke, and Chuck Norris. Here are a few others I would add Steven Seagall - he's just bad. Al Pacino Bruce Lee Robert Deniro John Travolta And one of my all time favorite old-school tough guys - Burt Reynolds - White Lightning, Gator, and Sharkey's Machine are among my favs. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 John Wayne Lee Marvin Clint Eastwood Charles Bronson Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 Charles Bronson. Ooooh good choice! 8-) You bet. Bronson would walk up to a perv on the subway and shoot him in the gut with a snubnose, then watch him bleed to death. Almost forgot, Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits. ;D Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 Dr. Hanibal Lector. I still get nightmares and it's been 6 yrs since I read the book. CHILLING... But real life actors are and always will be The Duke, Clint E. and Charles B. Quote
CJ Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I like alot of them mentioned. But to add, I like Robert Duvall. Eastwood and John Wayne were great. I also agree with 4Bizz. Val Kilmer was great in Tombstone! "I'm your huckleberry" Quote
Popeye Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Steven Segal. He is one guy who in actuality KNOWS all the martial arts stuff that he portrays in his films. Chuck Norris was not a full contact fighter in his younger years if I recollect right. He was a "points fighter" whereas Segal practices Akido and in reality could probably "mop the floor" with almost anyone. Didn't he "call out" Jean Claude Van d**n on a talk show once? I heard he called him a "sissy" or something like that? Bruce Lee was another martial artist who was the REAL THING. That is a well know fact. IMO:o) Quote
Top Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 in real life.. Audie Murphy... goes to prove a brave man isn't always the biggest... movie personna though.. Clint Eastwood... made a career on being a tough guy that has spanned DECADES... started with the sketti westerns and goes all the way thru the dirty harry series... Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 30, 2008 Super User Posted March 30, 2008 Humphrey Bogart. Steve McQueen. james Dean. Quote
Vyron Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I really liked the performance of Denzel Washington in Training Day and Viggo Mortensen in Eastern promises Quote
