wareagle83 Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Fowler is great. I also like Reckless Kelly and Jason Boland from Oklahoma. Almost any of the red dirt bands from Texas and Oklahoma. Bleu Edmonson, and many others. RadioFreeTexas is a cool site to hear new and up and comers in the scene. Standard radio play, I'd have to say Paisley, Jackson, Strait, etc. I'm so oldschool it's hard to listen to alot of the new POP country. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 31, 2008 Super User Posted March 31, 2008 A few years back at the Brickyard 400, we saw Montgomery Gentry perform the National Anthem. They sounded great. Sara Evans makes my heart skip a beat every now and then. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Don't own a truck,...never had a g/f leave me for a brother or my father,....I just can't relate to country music. Quote

I have seen Sara Evans, Terri Clark, and Sugarland before, as well as Montgomery Gentry. Sugarland is playing here next week at the NC Azalea Festival with Littel Big Town. Quote
Fisher of Men Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I don't like new country music. It all sounds like pop music warmed over. Quote
