Olebiker Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Fashion - whether it be jeans, shirts or whatever. Seems like fun. I spent 20 years in the fashion industry. Trust me, it isn't fun. Too many drama queens. The women can be contrary too. Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Philanthropist - so rich I have to work at giving away money. ;D If I can't do that, I have many interests. But first would be a first call session bassist in Nashville, TN doing Christian music. Enjoy working with my tractor. Always said that if I won the lottery would buy a dozer, bigger tractor and dump truck and do grading and clearing work as my "hobby". I love the smell of diesel fumes in the morning. Actually, would just like to be financially comfortable to stay home and work around the house and be with my wife and little girl. Quote
Fisher of Men Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I'm living my dream. x2- I am completely happy now, educating children and working as a worship leader at church. . . that's where the GREAT ONE has me right now. However, if I had a choice in the matter, I've always been fascinated with meteorology. I wouldn't mind being a TV weatherman. My other choice would be to own and operate a fishing tackle business and build it up enough that I could part-time manage it and field test tackle the rest of the time. Quote
Zel Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I would like to write a best selling book. Unfortunately I'm a lousy writer with lots of ideas. I do have something in mind that has a very good likelihood of being a best seller, but would have to be timed correctly. I have the title and a rough outline, but nothing else. Still don't know if it should go the way of a guide or something else. My wife is the only one who knows what it is about, and says there are millions of loons out there like me that would buy it - no matter what. Who knows, maybe if I get over my recent hump, I might find a couple of specialized people who I could trust. Who love researching and formulating information together. I'd give them a few sections each to tackle, and then find someone who could put all the data together in a way it flows and fits into my thought process. Equal billing for all. Only one thing... it will scare and depress the heck out of those doing the research when they see how it all ties together, which is all out there easily and freely obtained. How's that for daydreaming? Quote
jrhennecke Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Open a bait shop. We have one here in town that is kinda small but the customers are loyal and almost like family. Something like that would be cool. Quote
utser Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I would like to be a dentist for other dentist just to make them squirm. working as a tattooist would be cool, but i cant even draw stick figures. guess i'll just be happy makin sparks. Quote
Dangergravy Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I am living it, used to do concrete for 16 years. Traded everything in for wood chisels I'am a trim carpenter now much more family time ususally work in the shade and a better sense of accomplishment Major career change but I'am glad I made the move. ;D Quote
frogtog Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I wanna be President. Throw your hat in the ring, I'll vote for you My God look what we have to chose from now. Quote
bmadd Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Not my idea but a great one. A friend of mine and I were once talking about how we both thought the idea of owning and operating a bar and grille would be awesome. Turns out he has a really great idea. You know how you have a different wine for a different type of cheese? He wants to have a micro-brewery/grille. The catch is a different flavor hot wing sauce to compliment every type of beer he brewed! Quote

I am not a oil/gas producer just a grunt out in the fields. like to see how far your boat would run without us. but then again boats and tow vehicles don't run on integrity. but seriously to own and operate a marina/tackle-bait shop on any lake with my wife to run so i could fish everyday. I mean as long as we're daydreaming. Quote

(Just like if you had a beef with UPS policies, it's not me, or the guy that brings your BPS order, that you're angry at. ) Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I'd go back to drag racing if it would pay the bills. Huge industry, but very little money in the Sportsman ranks. Especially for a crew-member. Quote
toolpush Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 low budget didnt mean for that to come across like it did been on the rig for the last four days and am getting just a little testy, ya' think. anyway i agree with the big business aspect but they pay my bills so i can give the rest back to them for fuel. hmmm i see what your saying(lol) Quote
Guest muddy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I'd like to get out of the porn industry and into a "real" job. These girls only want me for one thing and I can't take it anymore. ;D I knew someone was going to go there, it took all my strength to not bring up that industry. Yea Tin, don't wanna sell yourself short Quote
Olebiker Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 working as a tattooist would be cool, but i cant even draw stick figures. Judging from the number of bad tats I see, that doesn't seem to be a problem. Quote
mattm Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I don't mind the real estate thing. Its pretty cool helping people getting into their home. I've always been intrigued by law enforcement and owning my own bar/grill though. Quote
guitarkid Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Already had one dream job, so lets see hmmm, maybe a fishing guide/tackle maker. If that does not work, maybe a Race chassis fabricator, Or I could practice alot and be a guitar player at some cool jazz/rock club or something. I am still young, I will think of something. -searoach Quote
WIII-60 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 When I was a kid I wanted to play baseball in college. When I was in college I wanted to work in advertising. When I worked in advertising I wanted to do something that wasn't at a desk. Now that I have a job that's not at a desk I want to be a cagefighter. Go figure. Quote
