First it was the Ice, then came the back to back Snow storms (FLW held bass tounament during one on March 6 on Lake Norfork) and for the last two days we had 12 inches of rain in Mounatin Home and both Lake Norfork and Bullshoals have plenty of water in them! Ahhhhhhh!

But I did stop building an Ark after the animals stopped gathering together at the top of the hill tops.

Yeah...I saw on TWC last night Popular Bluff,MO had 10 1/2 in. and still counting! The Ohio and Miss are at flood stages and will be on the rise. It has kept the TVA from letting much water out and Ky. and Barkley are about 5 ft. above normal for this time of year and will rise more (doesn't sound like much but they're not highland resevoirs). The campground my mom and dad are members at will be underwater most likely. I may be flippin' around swing sets and fire rings before it's all over!  ::)

So lets see some pics of your ark.

And I was going to try and get out Saturday...  ::)

Water in the low 40's and muddy isn't worth getting out of bed for.

I'll be leaving for Lake Norfork this Friday.    Spending Sat and Sunday on the lake, going to Branson Monday and Tuesday, and will be back to the Mountain Home area on Wed.    We'll be leaving Mtn Home on Sat.

Got any reports on fishing P_Rock Ark?    Will you be in the area?

Yes, I will be here, in Lakeview, just before the Dam on Bull Shoals. People are flooding out below the dams on the Norfork and White Rivers and the reservoirs have not begun to spillover yet; we received so much rain over two days. Even the town of Calico Rock downstream on the White River is flooding right now. Since, I live above and behind the Dam on Bull Shoals I am fine but pray for all the people downstream because they are going to need everyone's prayers. People are losing their homes and businesses as I write this!

With the 12 inches of rain we received this week both Bull Shoals and Norfork are WAY up almost to the spillways and still rising. There is a lot of water coming into both reservoirs upstream from Missouri also and that will take days to all get here!!! Here are links to the latest fishing reports but with all this rain, runoff, and rising water, I doubt they will mean much. I would talk to Roger at http://cranfieldjunction.net/ and check http://www.ozarkmtns.com/fishing/reports/norfork/ for the latest info. on Norfork and Bull Shoals Boat Dock for the latest info. on Bull Shoals at http://www.bullshoals.com/fishingreport/.

Twin Lake Area under flood warning

NORFORK As the water rose closer to her house Tuesday, Sara Allen-Bereczky immediately remembered when the White River flooded four years ago.

"Once the Buffalo River has flooded, we usually have three or four hours to evacuate," said Allen-Bereczky, 65, who lives in a floodplain south of Norfork near Red's Landing.

I've been watching some footage of flooding on TV, it looks unbelievable. I hope you and your family are safe and dry.

12" of rain is just crazy, I can't even imagine. The Southeast could still maybe use something like that though.

A commercial boat dock floats lodged against the State Highway 5 bridge in Calico Rock Wednesday on the White River. Heavy rains over the past two days has caused widespread flooding in the Northern Arkansas.
