John J. Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Me and my brother have always loved the doom games. I now have DOOM 3 the game and DOOM 3: Resurrection Of Evil for my x-box. Back in the 90s I remember I played Battle Ship, Sonic The Hedgehog, on Sega Genesis and playing resident evil, Final Fantasy 9, and mortal kombat! (Those were my favorites!) on Ps 1 I also enjoyed playing Metal Gear Solid, Contra (That was my favorite!), Duke Nukem: Time to kill (another favorite of mine!) all of these were on PS 1 Quote

John J. Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Surprised no one has mentioned Black Bass for Nintendo . Or the other one Blue Marlin or something like that . I remember that game! Man I loved it!!! Now I got Rapala's Pro Fishing on my x-box. If I remember correctly the Blue Marlin and the Black Bass were both in one game. Just different features.... I think though I am not 100% sure. Great game though! Quote

Super User FishTank Posted March 10, 2008 Super User Posted March 10, 2008 My favorite old PC games got to be Duke Nukem and of course Doom. But what about a real pinball machine? Are any of guys old enough to remember these things? I recall the first video game (Space Invaders) I ever saw and thought how weird, it will never replace pinball. How I wish I could take that one back. Quote

Yes, I used to burn some quarters at the 7/11 on those. Let's not forget Pitfall, Space Invaders, and Asteroids. I bought an "Atari Classic" game for the PS2. It's funny how these games were so "totally awesome" back in the day and they are really lame now. I always remember a game that I thought was so far ahead of its time. They had it at the 7/11 across town. It was called Dragon's Lair. It looked alot like today's PS2 and x-box games. Quote
