I've been trying this type of rattle this season and I don't have any complaints.  It's hard to see in this picture but they snap on with hook/ring and can swing freely.  If you have a bunch of favorite jigs that comes with the mushroom head rattle these might be an option instead of having to buy all knew jigs.  But where's the fun in that?  ;)
