I found out Friday I was inducted into the National Honor Society at my high school.  It's a nationwide club about community service, helping others, etc.

You can't just make the honor society, you also had to have a certain amount of community service, teacher recommendations, etc.

I tried when I was a sophmore and didn't make it, but applied this year and made the cut.  The induction ceremony is today.

Thanks!

Cool. That's something nice you can add to college applications. Especially if you apply to highly competeitve programs things like the NHS really. They show you do more than just sit in class.

GOOD FOR YOU DUDE!! keep up the good work. We're all very proud of you and love to hear about other members going above and beyond the average standards and succeeding in the goals that they set for themselves.

Can we get someone to make about 1000 "One of my friends on BassResource made the student honor roll." bumper stickers?? i'll throw it on my truck and boat! ;)
