Super User fourbizz Posted March 3, 2008 Super User Posted March 3, 2008 Alright I put this stuff on everything. I love hot sauce. I mean I like the heat, but I really like the flavor. Some of my faves 1. Mezzetta California Habanero. Man this stuff is good. Pretty hot though. 2. Tapatio just a good moderate simple hot sauce. I cannot eat carnitas without it. 3. Marie Sharps Fiery Hot Habanero. Good flavor. Pretty hot 4. Tabasco. A classic 5. Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce. Just plain hot, its a sadist's favorite I freaking love hot sauce. My girlfriend claims my scrambled eggs look like spaghetti sauce after I doctor them up with Mezzetta, LOL Quote
Guest muddy Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 TOBASCO is my favorite. Goya; Smoked Habinaros( spelling?) Tiger Sauce Pickapeppa-from jamica and as lame as it seems: Franks Original Louisiana Hot Sauce Quote

Super User grimlin Posted March 3, 2008 Super User Posted March 3, 2008 Tabasco is awesome for breakfast. Pour that stuff on eggs, biscuit and the sausages. I LOVE Louisiana hot sauce on corn on the cob...roll it in heavy butter first and literally roll it in the hot sauce.I once ate 6 of them in one setting. And my girl wonders why my stomache makes noises all the time. ;D Quote

Yakfish Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Frank's Hot Sauce is great on almost anything but this stuff is my all time favorite. My brother gave me a bottle a couple years ago and I was hooked. I order a couple bottles every few months. It's the one thing in the fridge that no one else ever touches. http://www.firehotsauces.com/bq0012.html Quote

My brother gave me a bottle a couple years ago and I was hooked. I order a couple bottles every few months. It's the one thing in the fridge that no one else ever touches. http://www.firehotsauces.com/bq0012.html I agree as it goes on just about everything I eat. There are a few other bottles in the fridge also but none of it gets used near as much as Frank's. Quote
Popeye Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Wasabi is also pretty potent stuff. Great on sandwiches. Brings tears to my eyes and makes my nose drip:o) Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Texas Pete - nice spicy taste (eggs, grits) Cholula - rich, "tomatey" taste (sandwiches) Cackalacky - great spicey hot taste (a little bit of eveything) All three stay on the kitchen table. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 3, 2008 Super User Posted March 3, 2008 Hot sauce and BBQ sauce are a couple of things that I also want to try "new" whenever the opportunity arises. I sure haven't tried them all, but I have tasted a few. There are several brands I collect and use from time to time, but my all-time favorites are these: Hot sauce: Tobasco sauce (original) BBQ sauce: Gates Barbeque Sauce (original) http://www.gatesbbq.com/ 8-) Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 3, 2008 Super User Posted March 3, 2008 Hot sauce in the fridge??? :-? Quote
CFFF 1.5 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 frank's red hot is by far the best tasting hot sauce, not that hot but man it tastes good and it makes the best wing sauce. Just mix with some butter flavored oil and you are all set. Quote
michbass Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Still like franks for just all around use not to powerful. Have been cutting back though. The burn on exit isn't fun sometimes. Anything to hot really magnifies this. ouch.. Quote
Super User Tin Posted March 3, 2008 Super User Posted March 3, 2008 Frank's My mom makes a dip for chips or crackers with cream cheese, hot sauce, and chunks of chicken. There should be a part of the food pyramid for it. Quote

Tokyo Tony Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I haven't experimented too much, but I love Tabasco, especially on my eggs. Since it was first recommended to me for breakfast, I haven't eaten eggs without it 8-) Quote
maxke01 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 guess you could call me a bit strange. I HATE hot sauce. But the hotter the better when it comes to wings. Is the ONLY thing i will eat it on Quote
