Anything under $20 that fits and is comfortable.  Redheads, Walmart Wranglers, etc.  You CAN go too cheap though.  I bought a couple of pair from Steve and Barry's for $9.99 once and the pockets ripped out within a month or two.

A darn good pair of jeans (although a bit more expensive- around $30) are Diamond Cuts.  They are made with a gusseted crotch and wear just like warm-ups. . . very comfortable.

Gander mountian guide series carpenter jeans. They run about 20-35 dollers. There really the only jeans that fit me.

Faded Glory, cheap and they last

ditto here.

I used to spend 50 bucks on 501s or Wranglers.... not anymore.

Faded Glory last just as long at a third the price. I am not gonna spend that kind of money for a name... I dont do it for my fishing gear, why do it for my clothes .

I have several favorites:

Monarchy Jeans are awesome.  My buddy Eric owns the company and hooks me up with "care packages" every now and then.

Ted Baker.  They just fit right and have a nice boot cut.

Hugo Boss orange labe.  They have a line that are hand finished and again, just fit right.

True Religion.  Love the fit and so does Gidget. :)

If I'm wearing denim, chances are I'm in Key overalls.  Both the regular blue and the hickory stripe.

I've bought a few pairs of Redhead corduroys and work pants in the past.  Never again.  They always fade prematurely.  It's taken me several years and way too much money to realize to stay away from Redhead stuff.

I'll have to go with Faded Glory.  I did just buy a pair of the flannel lined Redheads from BPS though and they are awful warm.  Gonna be tough to get me out of them in the colder months.
