At Lake K

I seen the mother cross a busy road as I was walking to my blazer...

I said to my self "no that couldn't be a fox"

After putting all my gear away besides a rod, I head behind the near by building where the lake continues.

I take a few cast and look to my right where I see a Vixen and 4 pups...

Fox are very cautious especially around humans and personally I never seen them out in the day.

The mother stays around for a short time and the pups stay to play

They climbed up a hill and disappointed into the burrowed area.

I didn't want to get too close not knowing where the Vixen went since I didn't want to get attacked especially because, many fox carry rabies

Nice pictures there  :)

There are a few foxes at my golf course, and they are beautiful creatures.  I wish I could have one as a pet - that would be awesome.  At the golf course, they've become really used to people, so they just sit there lying in the sun, and you can walk right past them, literally within 20 feet, and they just lie there looking at you.

Awesome pics. They're very common here in Central MA. I see them run through the yard all the time. I was out fishing once, went to the back of my CRV to get another rod or change lures or something and by the time I finished up and turned around there was one sneaking up on me from behind to check me out. It was no further than 10 feet away when I turned around. Kinda freaked me out a little considering they're wild animals.
