Why do you come here and ask for opinions, then not take the advice given? Why do you ask advice when your mind is already made up. Are you that egotistical? Do you need someone to hold your hand and tell you that your uninformed decision is correct?

Why do you post in every thread? Do you think it will make you look like an expert? Open eyes and a closed mouth is better than an open mouth and closed eyes.

Why make yourself out to be an expert if you've not even used the equipment you're hawking? Equipment is not great just because you own it.

I know you want to look cool and all that, but for once just be quiet and read.  There are a great many here who DO know what they're doing.

I guess  just don't understand why it bothers people that much to complain about it thats all. There has been quite a few posts about this, let it go and relax don't sweat the small stuff.

Burley will be alright in a few days after he gets back from G'ville.  He's just been pinned up too long like a Honey Badger at the zoo. ;) ;D

and is an experienced fisherman

Me?  I've got two years of dedicated bass fishing under my belt.  Before the spring of 06, I fished for trout and bluegill 20-30x a year.

I'm no expert.

EXPERIENCED FISHERMAN, different from EXPERT BASS FISHERMAn, and you have retained a lot and have helped me, don't short change yourself 8-)

Burley, the advice on this site is priceless.

If someone asks a question, receives many answers, and does not take the advice, then they are wasting their time.

I "save" many of the posts on this site and re-read them. They are like attending a Bassmasters University. And they are free!

But as has been said many times over the years, "You can lead a camel to water but you can't make him drink."

Have a great time on your fishing trip.  Sorry I did not have time this trip to catch up with you when I was in Southwest Virginia.

Next time!

Exactly.  Nonody MAKES you read the stuff.  You may feel something is useless to you,...might not be the case for everyone reading.

May I suggest a rather complicated yet 100% successful way to conquer this thing that bothers you so.....

Skip those threads ::)

Personally, I read ALL the threads, especially the ones with subjects that perk my interest OR are from those who I feel are the elder statesmen on BR (by elder, I don't specifically refer to age, just member status). I have yet to read a post that didn't TEACH me something or answer the question I posed to a tee!! Sometimes the responses just inform me of the personality or attitude some of the posters have. Most of the time the posts contain invaluable information about bass fishing and related subjects or life in general. I heard once that the day you don't LEARN something is the day you should find a HOLE and crawl into it because you're DEAD.

I love this site.  Not only do I learn a lot about bass fishing, and enjoy seeing members support those who need it, and even the posts that contain absolutely no valuable information or knowledge can atleast be found humorous!

Kind of hard to skip 96.875% of the forum.  :-X

What can I tell ya man?  Not sure what you're looking for here, should we all just stop putting up threads seeing as how they annoy you?   ::) :)

Bring me a solution along with your problem and we can start a dialogue.  If this is nothing other than a letter to the complaint dept,well,....that kinda lands this thread under the category of threads you evidently hate.

Think about it, what is more useless, a thread only a few can learn from or a thread with a complaint and no solution offered?

I didn't want to say it,....I wouldn't want it taken the wrong way, I think Burley adds to the forum, but it sounds like he is saying it himself.
