Hey guys,

As you remember, my Grandpa passed away last winter, and just as we are getting over that, something else has happened.

My grandma, on the other side of the family, has developed what we believe is Alzheimers.  We went to visit her today, and let me tell you, it was bad.  She had to be taken over to the hospital today and is going to be there for the next 3 days at least.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Thanks,

Aaron

That's a tough one Aaron.  My grandmother went through the same stuff and I was about your age.  It's tough when you visit and they don't know who you are but.....

Give her a hug, let her feel your love and her core will get the message.

It's a crappy disease, you spend a whole life building memories and they get stolen right when you need them most.  At least she is blessed with having a solid family around her.

Your family is in my prayers.

My grandmother is going through the same, and my grandfather did as well. Its very hard but I don't think anyone could have said it better than LBH. Its good that she has a strong family to take care of her.

Aaron: that's very SAD news and I feel for you and your family! It's a horrible affliction and I hope someday there will be a cure for it. Your Grandmother and your entire family will be in my prayers!!!
