Guys here is the totally new version of the Evolution 2 Jig.We were going to debut it at ICAST along with the Shak-E2 head- but it is ready for sale now. We are showing pictures of the heads only for right now. I have redesigned the head a bit . #1 Since the price of tin has gone through the roof like gas and everything else-we are now making the New EVO 2 out of lead. It has a smaller profile than the orininal Evo-(lead is denser than tin). #2 We cut down the shoulders(disk plate) for better penetration. #3The head is a more Stealthier design. #4 It still has the Seaguar Flourocarbon weedguard.#5 I have now added a super strong Gamakatsu flipping hook.#6 It is now powdercoated for durability. -This new design is incredible The fulcrum rolls the bait foward and lands in the proper upright postion every time. Now here is the killer.. They are $2.00 cheaper a pack. They sell (2jigs per pack) for $7.95 same colors but no whites. The only way you can get them right now is phone orders. _If you would like to order -call 732-780-7383-- They only come in 3/8 and1/2 oz til we get the finesse finished next week. Thank you, Bobby@MegaStrike

The Cavitron Buzzbait is well made, comes on plane immediately, creates a strong bubble trail and most importantly (to me) produces an unique "chirping" sound. I have had remarkable success with the 3/8 oz., black on black model.

Are the new Finesse jigs going to have the heavy hooks also?  If so, how long will we be able to get the existing ones with the lighter hook?

I think I'll give these a try, I had very bad luck with the originals always hanging up =/

as for Calvitrons I haven't ever caught a fish on one, it's sad when you're casting a calvitron in black and your friend is casting a cheapo bulk buzz and catching all the fish =(

The new Evo2 Finesse Jigs will have the highest quality Gamakatsu hooks available. They wont be the light wire hooks and they wont be that real heavy flipping hook. It will be just right.. The design of the new Evo's is truely a work of art. With the price being 2 for $7.95-We can compete with every jig company in the world. Superior design-Seaguar Fluorocarbon weedguard- Gamakatsu Hooks -All the best-

Dang and I just bought some of the old style. One thing though had 6 out of the 10 jigs I bought with loose or actually unglued weed guards that fell out. I just super glued them back in no problem but you might want to tell you manufacturing guys to put a little more glue in them for the wee guards.
