fish-fighting-illini Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I thought this might be an interesting comparison base it on reg grade unleaded or similar diesel I will rejuvinate the thread from time to time as an update Price here has been hovering around $3.00 / gal for some time Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.09 at the top of my street tonight. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 $3.089 locally Diesel anywhere from $3.409 - $3.559 Quote
Branuss04 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.29. There is one place that is always cheaper, but didn't notice what it was today. It was down below $3 1 month ago for a week, and has been going up every other day. Oh well, I go 2 weeks on a tank going back and forth to work.... it's SWEET!!!!! Quote
moby bass Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.199 Went to that price the same day the Texas refinery explosion happened. Didn't take 'em long, the pirates. Quote
frogtog Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 NC 3.15 and just as soon as we got into SC the price dropped to 2.84 Must be the difference the state charges for taxes. : Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 $3.12 in central florida 3.27 average in my area and around 3.31 on the islands or in Sarasota When it hits 5.00 a gallon, can you say anarchy??? Quote
alger319 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 lets not talk about the price of premium which goes in da boat.. :'( > Quote
bassdocktor Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Ha I've got you all beat at $3.29 to 3.39 right by me in Chicago. I'm sure if I drive just 5 minutes so I'm out of the city I know it will be $3.19 but probably lower. I'd have to see what gas is downtown by school. For you diesel guys. I was driving by a station next to Midway Airport yesterday and saw $4.16 Quote
Jake P Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 About 2 weeks ago it was at 2.79$ a gallon and now its at 3.05$. Quote
the old fishing pond Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I've been on strike! They can keep most of their over priced gas. I walk more these days too. Quote
KYbass1276 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.12 a gal here in ky. I have heard several times that our new governer wants to pass a .70 cent gas tax to help with budget shortfalls. Quote
Popeye Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.44/gal for 87 octane here in Kalifornia this AM. Well, since this Republic is usually first in the US in about every other thing that comes down the pipe (trend setters and all that), I'm sure we'll be the first to have to pay the $4.00/gal bounty. Time to air up the tires on my bicycles!!! Quote
JCrzy4Bass Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Lookin' at 3.08 here in Woodbridge, Va as an average. Wawa this morning (our cheapest) was at 3.05. Quote
TruflShufl Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 $3.15 last night just up the road. Funny thing is if I dip about 15 minutes east into Asbury, MO I can usually get it $.15-$.20 cheaper. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 28, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 28, 2008 3.28 - 3.45 in Seattle. Our prices are always higher than the national average for some reason. We have refineries right here, and the oil comes right from Alaska, so you'd think it would be cheaper. NOT!! On a good note - the world's largest biodiesel refinery is located in this state. So those prices are pretty competitive. Quote
Mobydick Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 3.19$ a gallon in central Pennsylvania. It was down below 3 till that explosion, then it went up. Quote
GitRDoneIke23 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 As of: FEB/28/2008.................Reg= $3.01 Diesel fuel= $3.48 Quote
