preach4bass Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Quote so now im fishing out of a bass pro shopping bag. Hey, that gives you a good excuse to go on a major BPS shopping spree. Just trying to find a bright side. Sorry for your loss. Quote
Popeye Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 That's a real BUMMER!! IF anyone breaks into my garage and/or house they'll have two rather LARGE St. Bernards with real protective attitudes to contend with! I wish them luck, but then again, I wouldn't have to feed the dogs that night!! Really too bad about your loss. Scumbags that steal should have their HANDS cut off when they're caught like they do in some countries in the Middle East! IMO! Quote
riverfisher Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Shouldn't he be able to include it in a claim on homeowners insurance along with his stuff!!?!! Quote
GobbleDog Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 My lure collection/tackle/rods & reels/etc. aren't worth as much as a lot of things in my house, but they're still my most prized possessions. You have my total sympathy dude. That stinks! If it makes you feel any better, somebody stole the trolling motor off my boat last year. :-/ Quote

It gets annoying when she barks at stray cats but she does the job, weve never been robbed. Quote
Murray Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 went to wal mart today to get some hooks worms and weights. and i picked up a bionix rod and quantum spinning reel that was red tagged. so its a start. its definatly an excuse to shop but im prone to go overboard when it comes to buying equipment. i think im whats known as an "impulse buyer." im off to ebay to look for a baitcasting set up.
