Guest muddy Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 OK Fellas: Putting together between 120 and 150 meatball this weekend, with tomato sauce( we call it gravy b/c there is meat in it) I hope that will be enough and the Bass Buss can handle it. If there is less than that I would strongly suggest you guys question Speedbead and Alpster, and check their shirts for tomato stains Quote

CJ Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Thanks FOM and thanks to you Muddy. I got so much to look foward to at the roadtrip it's almost like an "excitment overload". Okay.....deep breath. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted February 27, 2008 Super User Posted February 27, 2008 Dom, You know me & Wayne have an obligation to the rest of the group to be sure those meatballs are not going to make them sick or anything. It would a dereliction of duty to just serve them up without properly taesting them first. God bless you for making them awesome meatballs for us. You are da man! BTW, your cousin Long Mike, is bringing the garlic bread, so now I guess we are going to have to let him eat with us. ;D Ronnie Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted February 27, 2008 Super User Posted February 27, 2008 That reminds me, I haven't closely examined the attendees list recently. Will there be special seating for Team Diapers or are they sitting with the grown-ups? : Quote

Super User .ghoti. Posted February 27, 2008 Super User Posted February 27, 2008 OK, one each should be sufficient for quality control purposes. Anything more is gluttony. ;D ;D ;D Is there a breathalyzer test for garlic, oregano and basil? Quote

You obviously aren't aware of the A.S.T.M. regulations for the proper testing of meatballs. one for temperature, one for density, one for texture, one for consistency, another for purity, still another for the presence of foreign matter, I haven't reviewed the regs lately, but I am sure there are a few others. 8-) Ronnie Quote

Since I have at my disposal a complete electrical, electronic and instrumentation lab, I believe that I'm the proper person to conduct said testing. Please ship, by next day air, two dozen meatballs. That should provide a statistically valid sampling, and allow for redundant testing; to insure accuracy, of course. Please submit your samples forthwith. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 27, 2008 Super User Posted February 27, 2008 Bless these meatballs Lord I pray................................Keep them safe by night and day. The road trip last year seasoned them nicely. Just a reminder that last year, ya'll washed them fingers before testing the gravy after playing with your baits. Please do so again. Muddy, maybe you should lock'em up and mail the key off to neutral bystander. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 Muddy, maybe you should lock'em up and mail the key off to neutral bystander. Matt, Now what sort of lock, or even a safe, for that matter is going to keep me out of them meatballs. This is right inside of my garage......... I can open Fort Knox to get a meatball if I need to. ;D Quote
Guest muddy Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I don't understand it you can't post anything here witout some self rightous PSYCH Just all get there safe and enjoy em 8-) Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Mike, you'll only need to bring 1/2 the bread, 1/2 of those meatballs won't make it past Delaware ;D Quote
RiskKid. Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Just a simple THANKS for doing this.....they will be enjoyed as intended! Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 LBH, I'm going to double the amount of garlic bread. After all, if most of the meatballs disappear along the route, then, if nothing else, a bunch of hungry fishermen can dip their bread in the meat sauce. ;D Quote
Guest muddy Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 A WARNING FROM THE SURGEON GENERAL; I SPOKE WITH MIKE THE OTHER NIGHT ON THE PHONE HE SAID HE IS GONNA USE THAT SALMONELLA BREAD BRING ANTI BIOTICS IF YOU DECIDE TO EAT THE BREAD Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted February 28, 2008 Super User Posted February 28, 2008 Hey Ronnie, with that plasma cutter, no lock can keep you out of those meatballs. I'd say you have the upper hand.LOL Falcon Quote
