Olebiker Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I was in Louisville the other day for a funeral and ran ito a guy that I had grown up with back in the 1950s. We started talking about our neighborhood and he told his wife that we guys lived by three basic priciples back then: 1. If you are up high, throw something off. 2. If it's alive, kill it. 3. See if it will burn. I think ol' Dennis had it just about right. Quote
Popeye Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Those remarks remind me of the "Be A Dentist" song that was sung by Steve Martin in the movie "Little Shop of Horror") Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 21, 2008 Super User Posted February 21, 2008 Old memories and friends are great. They will always put a smile on your face, no matter the circumstances. Glad it was not your funeral. Quote

Glad it was not your funeral as said before and sorry for your loss too Quote

Glad it was not your funeral as said before and sorry for your loss too Words of wisdom , I think not. Words of young boys is more like it. As you all know , boys aren't the smartest creatures GOD CREATED. Quote

Glad it was not your funeral as said before and sorry for your loss too I didn't say they were words of wisdom. They merely reflected how nine year-old boys behaved in the 1950s. Quote
