llPa1nll Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Im pretty saddened to see what you guys call good beer save for a few. Most of what you guys are calling beer, I would call skunk swill. Dont be afraid of flavor or the price boys, drink a better beer you will be happy in the end you did. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted February 18, 2008 Super User Posted February 18, 2008 Beer sucks for me. Crown with water or diet coke... Quote

Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 Appalachian Brewing Company. A local brewery that produces some fine stuff. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 When I was in Oregon a few summers back I had an IPA that blew my mind. Can't recall the name. My buddy still lives in Eugene, I'll have to ask him. I know it's a west coast brewery that makes the stuff. California perhaps. I really love IPA's. The hoppier the better. Although, my favorite specific beer is Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. I'm not a fan of the Busch tall boys cousin Eddie is holding in my avatar. ;D I have to admit, I have a soft spot for malt liquor. I drank Colt .45 and Mickey's during the race yesterday. In college my buddies and I would drink 40's when we shot a round of disc golf. We were broke, and 40's are cheap. I guess they kinda grew on me. Quote
Yakfish Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Sam Adams. It actually tastes like beer. x2 Quote

My favorite hands down Wiesen Edel-Weisse, a german import hefeweizen. Other favorites in no order: Magic Hat, Becks, Guinness, Sam Adams, Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada. Quote
WIII-60 Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I forgot about blue moon. We have boulevard wheat here in KC also. One with an orange, the other with a lemon. Pabst Blue ribbon in a bottle is still tough to beat for quality to cost. It's the rapala of beer to the lucky craft of the hefe-mooner-bocken-weisers. Quote
