Super User burleytog Posted February 18, 2008 Super User Posted February 18, 2008 BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, coach Les Miles said Monday in a news release. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/ncaa/02/18/lsu.perriloux.ap/ Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 18, 2008 Super User Posted February 18, 2008 Aaaay : I would like to know what he did wrong though. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 18, 2008 Super User Posted February 18, 2008 oh boy. Why do so many of these kids insist on wasting their gifts and chances to a great life on such stupid things?!?!? Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 18, 2008 Super User Posted February 18, 2008 Yes, we expected the news earlier than today. Perry-Lou cleaned out his locker and left school last week. You NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER clean out your locker. The rumor is that his mother is upset that LSU is not paying her enough. In fact, LSU refuses to pay her anything. So she is making a rukus about him staying at LSU. Perry-Lou is a wonderful talent and would lead the Fighting Tigers back to the SEC Championship game and a shot at a BCS bowl this year. But you have to have a positive and team attitude to play college sports. LSU has other QBs that can step in and do a fantastic job. Got to hand it to Miles, he reloaded at the QB position so LSU is ready for Appy State, with our without the problem child, Perry-Lou. Do what is good for the team, Miles, not any one player. Geaux Tigers. Quote

WIII-60 Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Feel free to explain it to everyone bass-brat. Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 Hey Brass Brat - Seems some players get goodies in the form of money or gifts to their parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents, etc. LSU refused to give anything to Perry-Lou's mo (or anyone else) so the rumor in Louisiana is that LSU did not pay her enough for this coming season to keep her son on the team. Of course, no college team pays anyone to play for them, so it is a tounge in cheek joke. Maybe. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 Yep college sports is so "pure". For the love of the game : Quote

Super User Sam Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 Inside info from people in the know in Baton Rouge: "LSU is generally happy with RP and what he has been doing. The suspension was to get his immediate attention to keep him from doing worse later and to let him know LSU was on top of him. Unless he does something else stupid, current plans are to lift the suspension when spring practice starts per source inside the LSU athletic department. So basically he is missing about 6 weeks of working out with Moffitt. The boy has a natural propensity to mess-up that will very likely torpedo his NFL prospects. He missed team meetings, classes and conditioning work sessions. He has been suspended by Tommy Moffit. His locker has been cleaned out. He can returm but his fanny is on notice and the back-ups Lee and Hatch will get the lions share of the spring work." Believe It or Not!!! Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 Just look at the press Reggie Bush is still getting about allegations of him and his parents for taking money while at USC. USC still maybe stripped of Title and Bush may lose the Heisman. Background on the other two QB's please. When Catt said "two words", Jarret Lee, Whats his story? Quote
