I just saw these lures for the first time and bought one for me and one for my son.  Has anyone tried these yet?  If so did you have any luck throwing them?  They look really different and I am going to try throwing one tomorrow.

One of my friends was visting his sister in Michigan, and he said he tore up the wallaye and pike with it, he even caught a few SM bass. I bought one a while back and it's burried somehwere ina ll my stuff ;D ;D I just never got around to trying it. Let us know how it goes!

I have never tried them, but I have heard people who have tried it say that they really are bad.

I didn't have much luck with them, and I've never read about anyone else having a whole lot of luck with them either.

It sure looks like it should catch fish.

I haven't tryed one, but I have fished with someone who has, and witnessed the action of it. I think your alot better off throwing a spinnerbait.. just my opinion.

I am headed out in about an hour to fish a lake that sees a good amount of pressure.  I am going to try throwing this since it is a lure that the fish have not really seen much.  I will report back on what I think of the lure and on if I catch anything with it.

The hooks on it sucks.They dull out pretty fast

However i like the action and got some pretty decent fish with that fluttering action it gives out.I think it's similar to a spoon.

my father in law and i were fishing out at west branch and a cold front had just moved in

the bass were tucked up under weed beds but they would not explode up through to get my frog and were hugging the grass too much to come out and get a spinner on the edges

so sure enough he breaks this thing out and starts working it across the grass and within 20 minutes he had two four pounders on the boat

I have used the 3/8oz with decent success. When my usual arsenal is not catching anything, that is when I go to the Blade Dancers and Chatterbaits. I have thought about going out and using them exclusively for a couple of days to see how successful they could be.

I bought one when they first brought them out. Cant remember the size but it was a small one maybe 1/4oz. in blood red.

Anyways, the few times I tried it when nothing else would be working and I would go, to heck with it, I might as well thrown it, nothing else is producing, I didnt really get much going with it.

Granted I aint the worlds best angler at this point but I do alright.

I did have two good keepers I watched follow it back to the boat plus a crappie followed it back to the boat but none would actually hit it.

I am sure there is something I could have done to get them to take it if I would have been more informed or something but I wasnt......so, I didnt, thus.......they didnt.

 I use the smallest ones to catch crappie in the summertime.  Never had any luck with bass though.  Was kinda surprised, because when i saw the action in the water, I honestly thought it would catch alot of fish...

If they followed it,do what i do.Cast it out,let it hit the bottom wait a few seconds,then rip it up as if you set the hook and let it settle to the bottom again.Repeat.DEADLY! A lot of strikes come as the bait flutters back down. Even works with a fluke as a trailer if those plastic minnows get tore up.I lose a lot of tails to bluegills,so i use flukes.

haven't used it very often but I have caught a few fish on it. It has really nice action and hooks need some attention before throwing it. I used it slow rolling on ledges in deeper water but I like chatterbait style baits better for this pattern.

Well now you can't say never anymore because my father in law and I have had some great luck with them in his neighborhood pond.  Fish 'em slow on the bottom or quickly along weed edges or jig em up and down, it all works.  Whenever I see good colors of these on sale I buy a few packs.

The first time I fished it, I caught a 5 pounder on the dge of a shallow weedbed. Never caught anything on it after that. Nothing. nada. The fact that the bite was a reaction strike is probably the only reason it got bit.

We've caught fish using them.  There are a fun bait to use but I haven't used them for 2 years. No apparent reason just haven't.

Allot of guys here do not like them. I do like them however. I have caught some nice fish on them, my biggest crappie(14 3/4 inchs) came in one one and plenty of legal sized largemouths, no pigs though. I would either rig it with a curly tail grub or a zoom trick worm. The hooks are terrible and need to be sharpened.

This has become one of my go-to baits when I'm fishing lily pads (the others being hollow body frogs, plastic toads, flukes, senkos and kreatures). I'm talking about the largest size blade dancer that has a skirt and weedguard. I don't think it's too well-suited for open water fishing only because you have to work it too slowly to be able to cover much water.

In the pads (and slop) though, it's a fantastic bait. You can work it over them and when you hit a gap, just let it flutter down, then work it up to the pads, over them, and let it flutter once you reach the edge. It's very weedless and also casts well. You guys are right though, pay attention to the hook.
