Any of you guys wear western boots?

I'm 5'7",....Wearing "western" boots just makes it look like I'm trying too hard,.....I watched my (older yet shorter) brother make that mistake once,lol

Older and shorter?  I didnt know he wore boots on the island....

I have to admit it I do own a few pair.

Crossing the boots over was not a problem.  The biggest issue I had was not enough room in my luggage to pack my 4 pairs and my dad's two pair that he bought.  We even got matching belts with each pair.

I wore the brown ones out to dinner last night with Gidget and had two guys stop me to ask where I got them.  They are really nice, comfortable boots.  I'm pretty sure I wont have to buy any more for a few years.

I won 't have to buy more until my next trip to Mexico when I 'm supposed to go fishing with Raul to Zimapan, after all, I still have to take a flight from LA to León and we still have to depart from Raul 's place for that fishing trip.  

And since Robert won 't be needing to bring any tackle I 'm pretty shure he will have enough place in his luggage for a few pairs more.

Me too, except mine are Redwing Logger's boots.  I do have to admit that I used to have a pair of Tony Lama distressed leather boots.  Man, they were comfortable too.

A pair of black Shark Skin Justin boots, and a pair of a kind of brownish maroon Lucchese boots and a pair of Chippewa Rattler Boots from my time down in West Texas near Corpus Christi.  I also have a black Stetson hat.

I wear boots 99% of the time. I have CAT work boots, Brazos work boots, Cabelas' Hunting boots, Ariat, all pourpose boots, and 2 pairs of custom made Cat's Paws' in my closet collecting dust! ;D I'll post some pics in just a minute............

I used to wear them alot, but feet got wider and they just didn't fit

anymore. Loved 'em though.  I had Tony Lamas in lizard and antelope, Justin's in snake, another pair in bullhide. Talk about tough leather.

I used to have around 4 pair back in the days when my feet could tolerate them.  My favorite were a pair of Lama Ostrich skins.  Also had some Justins.

Im going to stick with my Georgia Boots

me too, i have a pair now for going on three years and they are great....very comfortable and they are showing no signs of breakage or anything....excapt the toes are worn to the steel toe but that was due to like a weeks worth of kneeling on concrete at work with toes dragging....when these finally die i will buy another pair of georgias

They are infact gator, I'm waiting at the Burbank Airport for my return flight home and am wearing the black ones.  

I may end up selling the snakeskin boots, they are size 11 if anyone is interested, pm me.

Yep I wear them and so did this Midget.

There was a midget in Texas whose ached almost all the time. So he finally went to his doctor and told him what the problem was.

The doctor told him to drop his pants and he would have a look. The midget dropped his pants.

The doctor stood him up onto the examining table, and started to examine him. The doc put one finger under his left and told the midget to turn his head and cough--the usual method to check for a hernia.

"Aha!" mumbled the doc, and putting his finger under the right , he asked the midget to cough again.

"Aha!" said the doctor and reached for his surgical scissors.

Snip, snip, snip, snip on the right side then snip, snip, snip, snip, snip,snip, snip on the left side.

The midget was so scared he was afraid to look, so he stared at the ceiling, but noted with amazement that the snipping did not hurt.

The doctor then told the midget to get dressed and see if they still ached.

Th e midget was absolutely delighted as he walked around the doc's office and discovered his groin area was no longer in any pain.

The midget said, "Perfect, Doc, and I didn't even feel it ..... What did you do?"

The Doctor replied, "I cut two inches off the top of your cowboy boots"!
