Super User fourbizz Posted February 12, 2008 Super User Posted February 12, 2008 No, no, it IS commiefornia. Everything is more expensive, but then again wages are alot higher. I mean my old construction job was paying $28 /hr. Where else in the country can you find wages like that for a blue collar job? This place blows. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted February 13, 2008 Super User Posted February 13, 2008 well i got my package..talk about fast shipping...holy smokes! I also ran out of my last can of kodiak last night, talk about perfect timing...4 cans will keep me good for awhile. However i ordered one of those oliver twist....Let's just say for 6.50 and the size of that it better be the best d**n tasting tobacco i ever had. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted February 13, 2008 Super User Posted February 13, 2008 Yeah I thought I saw in the picture that the oliver twist stuff was only a 3/4oz tin for $6.55. A geular can is 1.2 ounces. Quote

A geular can is 1.2 ounces. Well my math was off,but i figured a 3/4oz tin was a bit bigger than i received.I'm not gonna lie though, stuff looks goooood! I really wish we could find the camera we lost, just to get a picture how small this thing is. *updated* I just noticed it's a 1/4 oz...not 3/4 oz..... > Quote
Fisher of Men Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Real men chew Levi Garrett That USED to be my brand back in the day. My wife gave me an ultimatum when we got married. She said, "You can kiss me or quit chewing." Well, I took the sugar. For awhile after that, I would occasionally bum some off of a friend while fishing. Redman made a product called "Totems" one time that I really liked. For around a buck you could get two or three chews from it. It was good for the recreational chewer (or the chewer who wanted to hide it from his wife) to use on a fishing trip and throw away. Today, I don't know how anyone affords these habits (here in Texas there's an additional $1.00 tax on top of the already expensive $4 can or pack). I'll settle for some sunflower seeds or peppermints now. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 13, 2008 Super User Posted February 13, 2008 I've only dipped once in a week. Now when I open a can, it makes my stomach turn. Quote
