This was the main reason we got out of the business.  Our last few years we contracted with Phillp Morris and got a great price.  Once we saw what it was going to sell for post-quota, we weren't going to make enough to justify it.

That said, dad and I have kicked around the notion of growing an acre just for old time's sake.

is it like dip spit? I tried Camel Snus once and it was terrible, it was completely unsatisfying.

Burley, the first time I saw your new avatar I got cold chills remembering setting tobacco, topping, suckering, picking worms, cutting and hanging it in the barn, and stripping it.  The only good thing was getting that check at the auction and going to Sears to buy new clothes with the tobacco money.

Haven't had a smoke since around the first of August.  Have the occasional craving, that's about it.

Was talking with a friend of mine earlier this morning, he is/was a pretty heavy smoker.  Has been on Chantix about 2 weeks, doesn't crave them any longer.

The stuff works, but research the side effects.

Thanks Burley.I heard the side effects could be ugly but so are the long term effects of smoking.At 32 I'm really starting to notice.

Did the side effects stay with you the whole time you took it?Or,how long did you have to take it?

The only side effect I really noticed was increased sleep.  I slept like a baby for the 2 months I took the stuff.

Did have some intestinal trouble for the first couple of weeks   , but that was about it.

Alot of guys up here that hung up the tobacco setter have converted there farms into hunting farms we don't have any wild game birds hardly at all in my part of the state other than turkey and alot of people pay to hunt the pheasants and quail raise your own birds they buy them and you turn em loose and they go after them.   or built lakes and raise fish to sell  maybe you might give it a try seems to be working here

i have been dippin for 5-6 years now after quitting smoking....i started with kodiak and have tried several differnt ones....best one for my money is grizzly natural fine cut.....under 3 bucks a can....i wont pay for cope...that is the nastiest crap i have ever tried!!  and it dosent last very long...if they are our of my brand, i usually jut get a can of wintergreen instead
