Cigarlover 1 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Anybody got one of these things? My wife and I both like video games and we were lucky enough to come across one at Wal-Mart so we got it. This thing is highly addictive. The only game we have so far is the Wii games but we love it. The movements on the screen that you make with the controller are all very realistic. Just wondering if anyone else is having as much fun with this as we are. Anybody played any of the fishing games for it? Quote
Super User Micro Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 We got my son one for christmas and it is fun. I've gotten pretty good at bowling, but I can't seem to get the hang of golf. I liked the Rapala game for PC. Probably a lot more fun on Wii. Quote
Other. Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 SSBB (Super Smash Brothers Brawl) FTW!!!! Sort of disappointed with the new characters they added to brawl though they are striding away from original Nintendo characters. They added a charecter named Robot.... any one tell me what game robot is from? However I still can not wait to try out Brawl. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 It's a ton of fun. I'm still hooked on the game that came with it with all the sports on it. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted February 9, 2008 Author Posted February 9, 2008 The bigs looks like it'd be a lot of fun. I couldn't imagine standing in my living room playing 9 innings though. lol http://www.amazon.com/2K-Sports-The-Bigs/dp/B000NZVA2Y Quote
Top Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 acutally, I have one.. I have 3 games besides the one that came with it.. I have come ot the conclusion that the sports games are better on Wii than anything.. a BLAST.. but the first person shooters etc are better on the 360... just my opinion AL Quote
Popeye Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Bought 2 of them for my son's Christmas presents. Scott, my oldest, hooked his up to my 65" big screen TV and it was a BLAST playing the sports games that came with the WII. I'm not into playing video games all that much. I'd rather be "out there" doing the real thing:o) Quote
bassin_man Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Have played it but have yet to buy one. I'm not one to drive around specifically just to get a wii and I won't pay over the $250 retail for one. So either I get lucky or wait until they become more available whichever comes first. I heard some weren't to impressed with Rapala fishing on the wii. I know later this month they are going to be releasing the every popular on Dreamcast Sega Bass Fishing for the Wii. Quote
Other. Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Just to let you guys know that a rumor is that soon they will be releasing the Wii with brand new colors such as lime green, black, orange etc and a price drop to $200. Not sure when this is going to happen though. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 10, 2008 Super User Posted February 10, 2008 I've only seen TWO of the units on a shelf anywhere. I would like to fool around with one, but I don't have the time nor inclination to play video games anymore. Quote
Daniel My Brother Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 The wii is the first video game system I've ever owned. I like it. The kids love it. My 10 year old was playing the boxing game the other day and accidentally punched the TV pretty hard. Funny kid... ;D ;D I like the tennis, and can actually work up a pretty good sweat. I'm all for any video game that forces you to get up and move. Quote
