Super User Micro Posted February 8, 2008 Super User Posted February 8, 2008 Alright, alright (Avid). His admissions are damning. I agree. But you have to admit, this turned into a feeding frenzy. I saw posts about him (from members of this site) on several other boards that I have visited - people who registered just to attack him. I had fun with it, too (though I never accussed him of anything). All I'm saying is to be careful when you start throwing around accussations. A lot of people think anything goes on the internet. This guy rolled over. Some don't. And a savvy lawyer won't have any problem taking an accuser to task. It rarely happens, but it does happen. I've seen it. I've had to provide defenses to people sued for such things. Their usual response is "it's just the internet." They're saying the same thing when the jury is reading the verdit against them. It's not always as harmless as a lot of people think.
Guest muddy Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Heres the deal Micro: Some of us are good friends here. We have gone on tiprs together and supported each other through times of difficulty and share a lot of good times also. I was raised in Brooklyn and taught you go to the mat for your friends. This guy was not physically threatend by any one I know. I posted 2 leters one to the owner of bass feed and one to the members there, I also posted those letters here because he was doing the same thing over there. I sent him stuff also, I will continue to send people stufff wether or not he beat me, but he may ( and he is sizeable) put a road block in front of some of those who pay it foward. So I am not sorry for anything I did, LBH and Brent are personal friends of mine, as such they get all the loyality that comes with that, and nobody gets away with doin crap to those close to me, Do you really believe he paid for that logo, he wouldnt pay for a bag of worms , do you think that a lawyer wrote or helped him write that letter. Do you think that if I was helping out or defending a friend a letter fro a lawyer would scare or stop me>do you think I would take leagal advice from anyone who is not a lawyer>>NO , but I work with one. He's watching............He's always watching
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted February 8, 2008 Super User Posted February 8, 2008 I can say this without fear of legal consequences due to the fact that it is painfully obvious.... That is one ugly looking "Bama Boy"
dave Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I remember that the guys (basshunter69) posts were grammatical nightmares and he seemed fairly uneducated. Then we see what appears to be, barring some minor typos, a well written letter of apology from an almost different person. Did anyone else notice this? Is there a part I missed? :-? No judgement. Don't plan on getting on any wagons. Just an observation. You're kidding, right? :-? That thing is a spelling and grammatical abomination! I could probably find 30+ grammatical rules and spelling mistakes throughout that "apology". If I had legal representation, and I sent out something like that, I would have my own lawyer sue me on grounds of stupidity. X2
Guest avid Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Yo,,,cheap fish here.... I only took one bite

Guest avid Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Holy cow!! Better go easy on the rough language Fletch... the mods are watching... They're always watching
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 8, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 8, 2008 I think it's time we let this one rest. We've said our peace, he's said his. The mods and I are keeping a lookout for him, as always.

If I had legal representation, and I sent out something like that, I would have my own lawyer sue me on grounds of stupidity. Negative. But I guess it's hard to convey meaning in a post sometimes. I'm not saying the guy who wrote the letter was J.D. Salinger. All I'm saying is that it went from "gee shuks, eyem so blesed to have been gevin all uh them nice things by all uf'n your kind soles," to a letter that looks like it's written in english. I didn't spot any actual grammatical rules in the apology (i.e. Rule 7: Use a comma after phrases of more than three words that begin a sentence.) I did however, in my diligent search for spelling errors, count only 28 spelling mistakes. I'm not an english major though. By the by, thanks for 1. Choosing to bash my post because you're a human dictionary. 2. Deciding not to respond to my question with a "yes" or "no", or perhaps nothing at all.

I here ya WII....I though their comeback was way over the top. I got your point on how much his writing style had changed I wonder if Valas had even read any of Basshunters old posts? Hey it took me a while in one of your pm's to figure out what teaching MMA was, maybe time to explain it to them? just kidding LOL
Super User burleytog Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 Perhaps this guy isn't as dumb as he looks (or types). :-X
