Cephkiller Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 What is the best modeling amp out there? Line 6, Fender, Roland, Behringer or others. I'm looking to spend $200-400. Suggestions? Quote
Josh VanderMeer Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 I have a behringer v-ampire 112. THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!! you can get every tone u want on this thing: ACDC, Stevie ray Vaughn, Van Halen, Jimi hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Rush, Lynyrd Skynrd, and plenty of others. I love this thing!!!! The only thing is , is that u have to learn to use it properly otherwise it is hard to get these amazing sounds. It is a must to read the manual. If u do end up buying it PM and ill help u with it. Ive tried line 6 amps for the same price and they dont compare this thing. The only downfall is that the effects on this thing are really weak. I think i spent 400 or 450 canadian on this thing Quote
Cephkiller Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 Well, I went to the local music store yesterday and I purchased a Behringer V-Tone 112. I played it in the store and thought I liked it. When I got it home and really put it through its paces I decided that I actually hated it. So last night I went to Guitar Center and tried again. I bought a Line 6 Spider III 210. Awesome! Now my 11 year old son has a new amp (the Behringer) and a Les Paul Jr. I picked up at GC as well. So I supported the local economy and my son is ready to rock Everybody wins except my bank account ;D Quote
