Jake P Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I saw this picture and thought it is the most beautiful lake i have ever seen, imagine being in a boat down on the lake and looking around you and seeing that scenery. If you have any good lake pics post them. Quote
Kimbro Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 That is one sweet pic Jake. It would be surreal to fish there, the wildlife, the clean air etc. Time would stand still for a little while anyway. Joe Quote

CGH Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Hey Basspro48 My home lake, Parsley's Mill, may not be as epic as those above but she sure was purty to me... RIP 1827-2004 Mud Slide or Flooding Right. I remember you Posted before and after pics, That was a nice body of water :'( Quote
basspro48 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Yup, during our last major hurricane back in '04. We got something like 18 inches of rain in like 5 hours. The spillway simply couldn't handle it and the dam just gave way... That lake was teeming with bass in the 3-5lb range, there were even a few 9's and a 10 pulled out of there. But now all I got to look at is a huge mud hole :'( Quote
