garry77 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 where are you going to be fishing and what are the water conditions(temp, clarity, etc.)? Quote
Big-O Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Welcome to the forum. Would be a good idea to list where you are fishing to get a feel for lure or bait types. Also fish your favorite style or your strengths and will probably do the best. Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted May 19, 2008 Super User Posted May 19, 2008 Welcome aboard! Here's a thread with several suggestions: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1143177139 8-) Quote
Zel Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 For me, tournament time is not the time for trying out new lures and techniques. If the baits you listed are your confidence lures, I'd say go with them. If you boater has success with something you are not familiar with, you could give them a try, but for me practice or fishing for fun is the time to try new stuff out. Good luck in the tourney. Quote
