what's the best classic lure that you remember?

What should they bring back?

Lures form 50+ years ago still work today.

i havent seen too many baits come and go, seeing im only 17, but for really old lures that continue to produce, im going with the original rapala. It has got me a few 20-30 fish days when nothing else really works.

Another vote for balsa Fat Rap. I still have about 6, still use them, still catching fish.

I shudder everytime I hang one, even been known to take a swim to retieve one hung up.

The Arbogast Jitterbug and Hula Popper, both still available. I've been using them forever. Had them handed down from my dad, and his dad before him.

i had one balsa Fat Rap before, i caught a fish, then i got hung up in the weeds and lost it. ;) Compared to DTs  it is better.

The OLD Cordell Spots ...the 'one-knockers'.  I have six that I picked up at a boat show.  Talk about good on a pressured lake ;).
