So you were trying to drive through the mud?  Couldnt you just drive around it?

I don't understand the whole driving through mud thing.

They do it here in michigan as well....Once seen a guy come to work with a muddy 4X4 chevy...ask me what i do for a hobbie and i told him fishing and his reply was "see that truck outside? That's my hobbie!"

To be fair i never understood his obsession to drive in mud,but he doesn't understand mine for fishing.

I understand it completely.  Back in the day, I had a 1974 Scout II with some 34's on it.  I could pretty much go anywhere I wanted to go (within reason).  However, driving into rivers. . . well, no.  You just have to know your limits.  I rather enjoyed slipping and sliding around in the mud and miss it quite a bit.  To each his own!

Even people in east Tx. know that 38's won't float a truck.   ...lol  Looks like you tried swimming, not mudding.

X2- You gotta tread lightly.  I don't think I thought about such things when I was a teen.  I was four on the floor everywhere I went.  Bud's,  I wish I had someone like you to remind me of that back in the day.   ;)
