Big T Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Brett Farve threw an interception in OT to setup a game wiinng FG goal for New York. The Giants will find how good they really are in the next couple of weeks. It looks like the Super Bowl will be yet another Super Blowout. Go Pats Quote
Jake P Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 No! I hate the Pats and the Giants, d**n Brett Favre. Im at a loss for words. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 LOL..get cocky now...we underestimated them....better hope your pats don't go doing the same thing. Quote

Big T Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 They are not my Pats, I just like them better than the Giants. Actually I hate the Giants. I am a Redskins fan, so it is my duty to root against the Giants, Eagles, and Dallas. Plus it is hard to go against perfection. T. Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 That was a good game. Was hoping for a different outcome. I love Favre and don't mean to be critical but he just tries to force it too much sometimes. Pulling for the Pats at this point. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I turned off my tv the second I swa it was good. The tv hasnt been on snice. Quote

Super User Catt Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Yea but an LSU Tiger intercepted it so I don't fell that bad Quote
tipptruck1 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 You know thats all they have been talking about all night. Every time the local new comes back they say good morning were sure you didn't have a good night of sleep. Well I was sleeping good intill a truck woke me up. But with football being over I can watch hockey. That will hold me over intill racing season starts in a few weeks. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 That was depressing. Both teams played a horrible game imo. Blame the weather : Quote
Super User flechero Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Favre didn't play great but there were plenty of dropped balls that hit recievers in the hands (for both teams) that it shouldn't have even gone to OT. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 The Giants dominated the Packers in all aspects of the game, except the one that counts! Green Bay played well and timely breaks kept them in the game. Withouth a running threat, it's hard to compete at this level of play, but the Packers still gave New York all they could handle. I don't see how any fan could be hard on Brett Farve. Without him the young and inexperienced Packers would have never gone so far. "Forcing the ball" is EXACTLY why Green Bay has been so successful. Sometimes it just doesn't work. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Giants did one thing that i think was the biggest factor of the game....they played the clock to their advantage. Packers acted or seemed to rush every play they did...did anybody else notice this? Remember giants almost beat pats on their last game....they came darn close, they now have an idea how the pats play. It's gonna be another close game if you ask me. Quote
