Halo 3.  CoD4 was awesome, but I beat it way to quick and the replay value just isn't that great to me.  Halo 3 on the otherhand...wow

Halo1 and Halo3. Wasn't impressed as much with Halo2.  Gears of War is fun, but it's not on the same level as Halo.

And for the PC: Tank Plantoon II (old timer, ya, I know)

Final Fantasy VII for PS1.

In the NEWer generation, Dragon Quest VIII is an awesome game.

wow, Glenn. Wasn't expecting that. I agree with your analysis as well.

Orange Box hands down. Half-Life is the best series ever made IMO. And since it comes with Half-Life, Half-Life Episode 1, and Half-Life Episode 2, that is a good deal. Also Portal is a great game but it takes only 2 hours to beat on normal mode. Not sure about Team Fortress 2 because I did not even bother installing it on Steam.

However if you are looking for good multiplayer and fun I would suggest CoD4 Modern Warfare. Single player was way to easy for me even on veteran mode. But multiplayer sure is challenging.

Modern Warfare or I would say go oldschool and say GoldenEye for n64 :)

I played COD:4 at a friend's house when he rented it. It was pretty darn sweet.

But I picked halo 3 since I have it. It so freaking awesome! So many different game types and it never boring. Unless the matchmaker keeps giving you the same map over and over. >:(
