my friends and i have perfected a move that gets those slow-moving idiots out of the passing lane, and quick.

when that mom in her minivan won't break the speed limit in the left lane, all you have to do is roll up next to her, swerve erratically a few times until she hits the brakes (make sure to try to catch a glimpse of the look of absolute fear they usually display at this point), and once she slows down you mash the gas and bounce on up outta there. if you gotta cut her off, do it, it'll teach her a lesson. it's gotta be a quick swerve though, you can't just drift into her lane and expect her to notice.

try it out, it works.

I did it today on the four lane it actually does work!!!!! Thanks mikeinma!

If the woman were to lose control of her vehicle which resulted in her death and killing those children, do YOU want to be responsible for that kind of tragedy?

Seriously...DO YOU THINK THAT'S FUNNY?

awww c'mon now RW, i'm kidding just as much as those other guys talking about "bump drafting" behind the slow people.

i'm actually a very responsible driver and wouldn't ever pull that kind of move, especially on a highway at high speeds.

lighten up! :P

Wow this thread got big quick

You know what grinds my gears.

People that think their opinion is above everyone else's and they think they are right every time and when their wrong they try to deny it .

Also people on a cellphone going 80kph on the highway when traffics doing 100 and they don't even notice your horn :(

How about when you and another car pull up to a four way stop at the same time and the other driver pulls out because they don't know the right of way.

On the other hand, I also hate when it's obvious that you pulled up to a 4 way stop AFTER someone, and that person waits there as if it's your turn and doesn't wave or flash the lights.  I always think to myself, "Are you waiting for me?  You got here first!"

Then I start to go, and the person starts to go and we both stop, then we wait again, etc

Poor spelling,  bad gram...no,  let's not start that one up again

Dave, I resemble that remark.  I despise the bad grammar, spelling and punctuation, but have vowed to keep my mouth shut in hope that someone else would take up the flag.

There were AT LEAST 12-13 threads EACH that started basically with,  "what rod/reel should I buy" or something like that.  That is just since 2008 started.  That topic should be in the FAQ's.  Let's just have a free for all on rod and reel preferences and why.  Guys can go there and do research.

Almost daily, a person in an oversized vehicle (usually a SUV) will zoom up beside me at a 4 way stop, pull waaaaaay up beyond the line in the left turn lane, thus preventing me from seeing around him/her.  I'm stuck sitting there while they proceed along their merry way.  This is very effective at promoting expletives to stream forward from my mouth.  C'mon people!  Think about more than just yourselves for a change!  This is a general rant and not directed at anyone on this site.

What grinds my gears are the people who stay in the bumper lane at an acceleration lane entrance to an interstate and don't move over into the hammer lane to let the cars enter the interstate from the acceleration lane in a safe manner.

Yes, it is an ACCELERATION LANE.  Not a "let's stop to see the traffic go by" and mess everything up lane.

Yes and no.  I think it would be great to have an area almost like a product review board where anyone could gives review on their favorites and you could go to it and browse for a review on something you're interested in.  Maybe even a tutorial on rod length,  action,  power, reel speed and their technique applications.  There are may responses by mods and others about searching the site for previously covered topics,  before asking the same questions again and again.  As I proof read my post,  I thought again about a section for a tutorial on rods and reels and their applications.  I think it would be a great tool for anyone.

Off to the Bass Expo in Baltimore. :)

Dave , see the "sticky's" of each section ;)

i.e.  Sticky in "Rods/reels"

"Rods- Power and Action defined"

As for personal reviews of product, that's what the "tackle", "Boating"and "rod/reel" sections are for.  This is why we have a search feature.  Asking folks to use it is a way to keep the board as clutter free of repetitive threads as possible.

If the info you seek was not found through a search, then we know the new thread is pertinent and non repetitive.

Adding sections to the forum, makes the board less appealing, believe it or not.  Simple is the key.

We do our best.

Not only annoying, but the cause of many "avoidable" accidents.

Use the proper lanes!

Right lane- Exiting and entering traffic

middle lane- Travel lane

Left lane- Passing Lane

Now, take it 1 step further...

KNOW WHAT LANE YOU NEED TO BE IN BEFORE YOU NEED TO BE IN IT!!!!!
