What grinds my gears is people who don't know what a turn lane is for, it is completely legal to get into the turn lane long before you get to where you want to turn.

What grinds my gears is when I'm in the Middle lane doing 80 and some nut case comes up behind me and flash the high beams and wants me to speed up so he can get around the cars in the Left and Right Lanes that will not speed up or slow dow so he can pass

PUT YOUR BEAMS ON THE CLOWN IN TE PASSING LANE NOT ON ME >:(

How about people doing 40 in a 65 and the minimum is 55? Came across a few people doing that today. Get off the highway!

People that walk behind your car AFTER you've begun backing out of a parking space.

Cell phone talkers/drivers in a parking garage.

PWC riders who jump in line at the loading ramp.

I fully agree with Chaddy.  Nitwits who will not move out of the passing lane irritate me more than any other driving situation.  There ought to be a law that allows you to shoot out the tires of nitwits.

No need to use weapons, just bump draft ;)

I don't know why, but this gets on my nerves too.  I've only been driving for a few years, but I've already seen it way too many times.

Also, I hate it when people start speeding up when you start to pass them, then slow back down when they get back in front of you.

REMEMBER - "Bump drafting" is fuel efficient.

You know what grinds my gears.....

You are doing 55 in a 25 zone and someone tailgates you with those silly blue red and white lights and gets on the megaphone telling you to pull over.... me the nice guy that I am pulls over and he decides to fine me!!

What grinds my gears is when people won't stay off the sidewalk!!! I mean how am I going to get to school traveling behind so many cars on the road? and the only route that I can take without being late is the sidewalks! But because of these idiots I am late anyway!

Just kidding!

Pushy sales people. My WHOLE day was ruined today after 2 idiot, piece of shi#, rude sales people from 2 different stores ticked me off. One was a Manager at Macys that butted into a conversation between me and a very nice sales person. Well, the manager lost the store a $2000. sale plus the return of a $730 item.

2nd was at Lazy Boy furniture. Again, a manager. He sat me in a recliner that was $699. Then he looks at my pregnant wife and says "I tell you what, since she is an expecting mother, I'll give you a 30% discount." I said to myself "don't pee down my back and tell me it's raining." He then made the MISTAKE by saying his recliners are the best and that they are made of marine plywood. I'm like, what? I looked at my wife and said "look babe, there are more chairs over there", pointing across the the breezeway and not realizing what I was looking at was another company within the same building. The Manager said " Oh, that's Ashley furniture, they are cheap and poorly made" I said "Really, I have several pieces of Ashley leather furniture at home that are 4 yrs. old and are as good today as they were when I bought them." I left and returned 1/2 hour later showing him my sales receipt from Ashley on my new purchase.

People who go 55 on the highway in the passing lane, people who cant follow the arrows of a wal mart parking lot and drive in the wrong direction, people who ride your a$$ when your going 5 mph over the speed limit, people who stare at you for a minute or two straight and when you look in there general direction they ask, "you gotta problem"?. People who assume you did something with no reasonable evidence and then insist that there right.

The guy in front of you at the carwash who spends 20 minutes vaccuming his muddy truck, and then he sits in the 'stall' at the washer waiting for all of the water to drip out of his truck bed!

I swear ... this happened to me today.  It took 45 minutes to get through the wash.

Let me set the scene..

Your driving on the right lane doing 57-59 on 55 speed limit, about 100 feets away there's a turn.Guy behinds you decided to pass you,get in front of you and turn slowing you down. It's like they don't even know what they did wrong.WHY THE HECK COULDN'T THEY STAY BEHIND ME!?!?

This happens to me atleast 2 times a month...It was worst when i was in Texas.I don't understand this....

People that look at me and are thinking...."What is this 12 year old doing driving that truck!?!??!?!!"

Actually, it doesn't bother me, I just think it's funny  ;D

What grinds my gears,

When you are doing the max speed limit, and tail gaiters in any lane thank you need to move so they can break the law.

Or people who are on the cell phone using one hand to drive.

Very unsafe, just as eating and other distractions are or can be!!!!

The one that really bugs me is the no car seat, baby in the lap.

I got a good one that happen last night a lowes.

Some lady parked her jag in the blue marked area for handicapped people to use in front of the doors.  She got out right in front of me.  I almost gave her a I don't understand are you doing and your not special move the mf.  Man I was ticket off bad.  I could picture a handicap veteran trying to get out but not since she is so special to park there.

Looking back I should have unleashed the fury.  Rich people with no respect.

I agree with you guys on the slow people that dont move.  In MO it is illegal to drive in the passing lane and slow traffic is suppose to stay to the right.  They dont enforce it though.

We were at church last sunday and we always park on the curb in front of the church. Well when we came out there was a car park on my bumper and when they did this it scratched there car up so I waited for them to come out so they wouldnt think we backed into them and left. The people started to walk out to there car and I met them halfway and asked if it was there car and the guy said yes it was, so I told him that he hit me when he parked. Well come to find out it was his wife driveing. After I told them that they hit me I explained that they didnt hurt my car but they did theres the lady got mad at me and started to say she didnt hit me so I walked up to the cars and showed her then she got madder and just went and got in her car and the man was like o we are just touching you no big deal and got in the car and left no sorry kiss my a@% nothing. They are  an older couple and that is the second time they have done that, the other guy they parked completelly under there car. I hate when someone cant admitt when they are wrong and just apoligize.

Another thing that grinds my geares is people that dont use yield signs on the loop here the exit ramps have yield sign for the service roads as the same as others I am sure. But for some reason people dont think they half to use them for some unkown reason you are going 50 to 60 mph and theey are 35 to 40 and they never stop or slow down just pull right out in front of you. I want to get a old LTD and never slow down alot of times its someone in a benz or bmw.

Thanks for the vent time

my friends and i have perfected a move that gets those slow-moving idiots out of the passing lane, and quick.

when that mom in her minivan won't break the speed limit in the left lane, all you have to do is roll up next to her, swerve erratically a few times until she hits the brakes (make sure to try to catch a glimpse of the look of absolute fear they usually display at this point), and once she slows down you mash the gas and bounce on up outta there. if you gotta cut her off, do it, it'll teach her a lesson. it's gotta be a quick swerve though, you can't just drift into her lane and expect her to notice.

try it out, it works.
