BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 22, 2007 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 22, 2007 The following bugs have been resolved: Layout issues with Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, and other non-IE browsers has been fixed. The "All" link functionality, that shows all pages of a thread, has been restored. The "Away" PM message deleting all PM's has been resolved. The search function not showing complete results has been fixed. Open issues: Top nav bar not displaying correctly on select browsers. Been a long week folks! Glad to have all the major issues behind us now. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted December 22, 2007 Super User Posted December 22, 2007 I know that added a few more gray hairs to your head. Thanks for the hard work Glenn. I don't know what we would do without you. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 22, 2007 Super User Posted December 22, 2007 I had no issues at all but wanted to say thanks for all the new features. I'm still finding new stuff to play with. I haven't tried the ALERT MODERATOR button yet. Is this like pulling the fire alarm in high school? BIG NO NO!!! BTW, thanks also for putting back the "all" option on posts. I liked that feature. Cory20 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 So there was something screwy with the search feature. Thank you Glenn. Quote

I don't know if it is my imagination or not, but this site seems to be even faster now. Very good observation. Yes, there were some performance enhancements with the upgrade, so it does run faster now. Quote
Joel W Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I still can't get the forums to load correctly using Firefox, so I just use the IE site switch for the forums. Now everything is working just fine. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 23, 2007 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 23, 2007 Clear your cache. Quote
Joel W Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I've cleared my cache over and over, it still didn't make any difference. It works using the IE tab, and since it's a feature of Firefox which I need for a few medical sites, I'm fine with it. Quote
RatONaStick Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Seems like the search function doesn't work. I can enter generic terms like boat or line and it returns zero results. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 24, 2007 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 24, 2007 Fixed. Quote
RatONaStick Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Fixed. I'm still getting zero results. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 24, 2007 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 24, 2007 Works for me for all those terms. Have you refreshed your browser and/or cleared your cache? Quote
RatONaStick Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Yes, I did it earlier and did it again just now, same thing. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 24, 2007 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 24, 2007 Ok, I can reproduce it. I'll work on it. In the mean time, use the search box in the upper right corner of the forum (by the magnifying glass). That one works. Quote
RatONaStick Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Thanks for the hard work Glenn. Merry Christmas Quote
Joel W Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I just tested the search function myself as I haven't used it since the upgrade. I ran a search for "Drop Shot" and one for "Row Boats" both came came with zero results. Now I know that there are current posts on Drop Shots, so there is still something wrong with the search function. Quote
