I am looking to bye new tackle boxes I want to buy some pretty big boxes that can hold ALOT of lures. Like a plano 3700 if that is big. If yall could post some pics of your big box and what you can fit in it or just leave a message about it.

I just bought the "XPS Stalker Tackle Bag on Wheels" from Bass Pro Shops.  It holds 5 370 boxes and it also has numerous storage compartments.  It can be carried, worn as a backpack or pulled from behind like a suitcase.  This is a really sweet tackle box and I am now more organized than I ever was before.

Well I am wanting like the 370 tackle boxes. Like what you put in it. I am putting them in a BPS Boat bag.

Okechobee Flats box from WalMart.  Huge capacity, comes with boxes.  Lots of storage pockets for xtra gear.  Holds so much is gets seriously heavy.  Great straps and zippers

The best deal in bags in my opinion

I had one of the Okechobee Flats tackle boxes before I upgraded.  I broke two of the latches off of the plastic 370 boxes.  The BPE 370 boxes are more durable due to the way they are made.  The tackle box itself is a great deal for the money and you can pack a lot in it to the point where it gets real heavy.  The BPS one I bought has wheels to pull it behind you or you can carry it like a backpack.

i have yet to find a tackle box that i like.  i want something relatively small(falcon V4 speed bag size-ish)l, with enough space for one or two plastic boxes to hold hard baits and terminal, a seperate, larger compartment to stuff full of soft plastics, and a few other smaller compartments for camera, pliers etc etc.  if anyone knows of this box, please let me know.  i dont think it exists.  everything i see just has room for like 4 boxes and thats about it.

I bought a plano bag from walmart awhile back that holds 4 boxes w/ some room to spare on the inside, also has two cargo pants sized pockets on either side for extras.  Not sure if this is the kind of thing you have in mind, but it works very well for me. Hold 4 boxes of lures + pliers, camera, flashlights, extra line and a few others.  It is still small enough to be very portable though.   *grabs camera to take a shot*  i'll be back to edit in a photo later  :)

you can see it in this photo in the background. I'm bein abit lazy by not just taking a pic of it  :-[DSCN1279.jpg

yeah i know that box.  the problem is i only need one or possibly two boxes.  and a bigger pocket for my plastics.  a seperate pocket, i hate having to move all my bags of plastics aside to get the box back in place.  but it also needs to be small for two reasons, one i am on foot and dont want to drag around a huge box, second, i dont have or plan to have enough tackle to fill a huge box.  but my bags of plastics take up the most space and are used more frequently.

sorry to hijack this thread by the way

If I'm interpreting you correctly, you're asking about the actual utility boxes. I use the 3700, 3701, 3770 and 3771 boxes from Plano. The 3700 is just their basic box and it works great for storing all sorts of baits. The 3701 is the thin version of the 3700 and it is great for storing thin baits. The 3770 and 3771 have a unique adjustment system that can be set up exactly how you want it. I really like the 3770 and 3771 because there is no wasted space and each compartment can be the exact size you want. The only downfall is that they are heavier because the plastic is molded thicker. I would suggest you go to your local tackle shop and check out a bunch of different boxes to see what will work best for YOU. Pay attention to the latches and dividers on the different boxes because they are not all equal. Hope that helps.

Here's a link for pictures.

sounds like you're talking about a regular backpack to me.  try getting yourself a well-made, all-weather backpack and see if that works for you.  should be the perfect size to hold 2 boxes, plastics, and all your accessories...

I use 3600 style boxes in the BPS Backpack.  I also bought one of their soft plastic binders/folders/whatever their called.  They are roughly the same size as the 3600 boxes so I have that and 3 or 4 boxes in the backpack.  Seems to work well for me.  I'm planning on buying another binder for kreature/fluke/etc plastics.  Then I can just throw whatever I want into the backpack and off I go.

I have an old Marine Corps bag that a friend of mine gave me when he got out I have my hard baits in these boxes that are about 5x12 or so. Every plastic that I could ever want fits in the bottom while the top little pouch holds two boxes as previousely mentioned, a rattle trap box with hooks, a bullet weight box that has the weights, and a few rapalas.

Sorry to be so long, but I find this bag to be quit efficient.

i have a large plano soft bag that carries about 8 3700's plus one on each end...its not listed on the website anymore.

for the 3700's i like to drill small holes for drainage

for cranks i have a BandB takle box...i like to keep em hanging, instead of laying in possible water/moisture.

I think the bag I was talking about was the MOLLE system or something along those lines.

I have a Jansport back pack that I use for a tackle box now.  It holds tons of stuff, it's water proof, tough as nails, inexpensive and it has a lifetime guarantee.  It also has a spot with a built in cooler for a sandwich and a drink and another spot for a cell phone , mp3 player, or gps.

I would also recommend the Falcon boxes. I can get 5-6 boxes in this backpack.   It has worked out great for me so far.
