Super User Sam Posted December 18, 2007 Super User Posted December 18, 2007 It must be really cold up your way. It will be in the low 50s today so I guess we are fortunate. Did anyone say ice fishing? Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 18, 2007 Super User Posted December 18, 2007 It's like 45 degrees here in CA on the central coast, and I'm freezing! Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 18, 2007 Super User Posted December 18, 2007 It's was 11 degrees here this morning. Russ, I feel your pain. I hate winter. Quote
llPa1nll Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I already have seen snowmobile tracks on some of the lakes I fish on. I guess the predictions of a mild winter are not working out so far. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 18, 2007 Super User Posted December 18, 2007 I guess this all comes back to "Yankee Ingenuity", but a few hundred years ago, like before there was NFL Football on tv, what did you guys do up there all winter? Quote
Davis Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Before I even got back into fishing this past summer, my winters would be very depressing. Watch football on the weekends but that will be coming to an end soon as well. It's worse this year because I really got back into fishing this year for the first time since I was in high school (10 years ago). So now I'm not only missing the nice weather, landscaping, grilling, and summer sports. But missing fishing as well. Really down in the dumps. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Jimzee, I'm not complaining, lol, I think it's cool! (no pun intended) RW- We chopped wood I think, lots and lots of wood. Quote

Why do you think there's such a large population up here. People had to keep warm some how. ;D Quote
