Cigarlover 1 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 My favorite "classic" would be Santa Clause is Coming to Town. I love watching Christmas Vacation and Elf too. Quote

Fisher of Men Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 How about some love for the Peanuts gang? My favorite is the "Charlie Brown Christmas" show. You know these shows are only 30 minutes long, but when we were kids (before video tapes and they were on ONLY once a year) it seemed like we could sit down and it would last for at least two hours. I guess life was alot simpler and slower paced back then. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted December 17, 2007 Super User Posted December 17, 2007 It'a a F-R-A-G-I-L-E A Christmas Story....... Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 17, 2007 Super User Posted December 17, 2007 Christmas Story all the way for me. Although, when Clark gets his expected Christmas bonus and finds out it's a jelly club his reply about his boss is classic. Funny stuff! Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 17, 2007 Super User Posted December 17, 2007 The Charlie Brown Christmas Special is my personal favorite. Quote
slomoe Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I grew up watching this movie every year. Quote
Olebiker Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 How about some love for the Peanuts gang? My favorite is the "Charlie Brown Christmas" show. Man, when Linus has the house lights brought down and starts in with his recitation of the scripture, everything that seems wrong with the world seems right again. I think that is one of the highlights in television history. Quote
skillet Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 "You'll shoot your eye out, kid." "A Christmas Story" As Ever, skillet Quote

Some of us need to do the same around Christmas, so we can "get it". Quote
utser Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 christmas story, you'll shoot your eye out. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted December 18, 2007 Super User Posted December 18, 2007 There are many others that I love and most have been mentioned already, but nothing beats Linus quoting the real Christmas meaning from Luke chapter 2 in Charlie Brown's Christmas! JMHO Ronnie Quote
Troutfisher Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Agreed with you, Alp. Surprised they still even show that on TV anymore, but I'm glad they do. I like The Grinch as well. He accurately represents my aunt, except the whole heart grew three sizes thing never happened, it just stayed 3 sizes too small. Quote
frogtog Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Old time favorit ( Miracle On 54th Street ) Quote
