Guest avid Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I throw ALOT of lipless cranks. I use em all. Ratltraps work fine, but changing out the hooks is a pain. LC's especially the LV500 max work very well for me can't say too much about the cordells - not a great producer for me. Yo-zuri hardcore drum has been a very nice surprise. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I really like the rapala ones. They catch a lot of fish for me. Quote
CyBasser Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Yo-Zuri /Duel Hardcore Drum The above. Plus Yo-Zuri Livebait Vibe.... Quote
justfishin Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Cordell Super Spots and Rattle Traps. In the spring on the Lower Potomac a 1/2oz chrome with a blue back is a killer. I throw the factory hooks in the can when I buy these lures and put on no. 4 Excalibers. Quote
harshman Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I'm a big fan of Lucky Craft lipless but rat-l-trap is a great company to use as well. Harshman Quote
Deuceu72 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Excalibur............They are the only lipless cranks I'll throw. They are extremly LOUD and the colors scheme and finish are great. I swear by them. They are a bit pricey but well worth it IMO. ;D ;D ;D Quote
Fishin49er Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I use mostly Rattlin Rapalas. I just bought a couple Excaliburs, but havent had a chance to try them out. Quote
lubina Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Yo-Zuri /Duel Hardcore Drum Love it. Also the LV 500 Quote

ga_hawghauler Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I would have to go with the rattle trap just because I havent fish with many of the others. Quote

gman2 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I have a ton of rat- l - traps, rapalas, and so forth and I can't catch a fish on them to save my life any suggestions I figure I am not using them at appropriate times not to mention. I get discouraged easy. I know you guys are gonna make fun of me. But alot of times I never throw more than a jig and t- rigged super hawg. I catch fish shallow cranking but not on traps. Oh well help me out guys. My goal for 07 was to become more versatile. What are the best colors. I have a ton of them but maybe I am missing the best colors. Quote
